If this is you situation, then you may be interested in performing a master reset (or “hard reset”) on your phone. The master reset will effectively restore your phone back to the factory condition, inclusive of all settings. Be warned, any data that you have not backed up, photos you have not transferred, calendar settings, or messages you have not saved will be lost! Make sure you do this first, if possible!

Here is how you perform a Master Reset on the Motorola RAZR V3:
1. Open your phone up and go to “Settings”
2. Next go to the selection for “Initial Setup”
3. Next go to the selection for “Master Clear”
4. Then select to confirm the option.
5. Now enter the security code which should be “000000”
6. Finally press select or ok and the phone will reset itself to the factory condition

Congratulation you have performed a “hard reset”, “hard reboot”, or “master reset” on your Motorola V3 RAZR and it should return to normal operating mode!

Master reset code is 0000 is the default code. Either 1234 is the code.

try master restting it? hwo old is the battery? batterys have liek a one and a half year stadard life, if its older, get a new one

enter the security lock code 000000 try it! it worked in my phone

try a master reset and clear all data on the phone......if that does not work have the phone's firmware reflash by taking it to a professional mobile store and getting it done there.

I had the same problem and i fixed it by installng a small piece of tape on battery pulling tension on the connector; after I added this I've had very few problems with restarting.
