What size transistor goes to each convergence chip - location number on board (i.e., 80 goes to r7001, etc.)

Not sure what you are talking about, this set uses two of the STK-392-110 CONVERGENCE IC'S.

There are no transistors that go to individual pins on those chips directly---you are talking about the light blue resistors that do go to individual pins---most are 2.2 ohm and 1/2 size and those are about the only ONES THAT EVER FAIL--HAVING FIXED NEARLY 200 OF THIS EXACT MODEL SET, never seen more than one of the 2.2 ohm resistors bad---

If you want to make sure each is the correct value, Google for the full service manual by model number, no one carries those number to value with location numbers in their pockets, IF ANY OF THE 2.2 were bad set would shut down and constantly blink 3 blinks at the power light.

Ups after 1 hr automatic disconnected and on only battery mode.

I have to believe that the problem is in the smart chip, with the software that monitors the power. There is a very good chance that you have a slightly higher input voltage then normal. You may have to contact Powercom.....

I don't think you are in the USA...I sell Powercom and I don't recognize the part number. I think this is simular to the IMD 625 Va UPS sold here in the USA. The imperial model had a defect on the smart chip two years ago here in the USA, and I figured it out for the MFG, so maybe that same chip is acting up for you. Besides, the 600VA size should be too small for you know. You should upgrade to a 1000VA. It will handle the load much better.

Cover for rival crock pot chipped and unusable

Try this website, they seem to have a good selection of replacement parts that are pretty cheap.

The size crock pot you have is the most common I think. if you aren't sure which lid to buy, email them and ask.

Hope this helps!

"insert smart chip" eror message - smart chip is in but nothing

Hi there!

The first thing to try is cleaning the contacts for the smart chip, on the phone and the chip itself. Use a little rubbing alcohol on cotton buds and be careful you don't bend the contacts in the phone. If that doesn't remedy the problem, get your service provider to give you a new chip. They should be willing to give you one for free. If that doesn't fix it, then it is probably a phone problem. You may go to your service provider or any nearest mobile phone repair shop to have it fixed. You may also have the phone replaced if your budget allows it.

Happy holidays!

Samsung CLP-500 problem

Resistors? You mean the smart chips?
Here's something I found over the last few years of dealing with these newer laser printers.

Say for example you had a 13,000 page factory toner, you replace it with a 20,000 page aftermarket refill, but you trade off the chip. There are small case triggers that read the toner size (I still haven't figured if it's internal or external) The chip is programmed for a specific cartridge size. The carts don't match, the chips won't work.
Also, certain printers will recall chips that have been used, and won't let you reapeat chips until you have gone a certain number (like it has to have 4 or 5 different chips before you can reuse the first chip).
So options to get around it.
I found in the Dell printers, if you go through the menus, there is a setting that allows you to bypass using factory cartridges, I don't know if Samsung has the same menu settings, but it's worth digging through the layers.
2) Put the chip that came with it back in, and see it it will work.
3) Break down and buy a factory cartridge. I know this is the least attractive option, but it will determine if it is a read sensor, a firmware/software error, or something else.

The whole smart chip imbedding happened about 7 years ago as a settlement on a lawsuit.

Smart chip

You can try 0000, 1234 or the last four digits of your cell phone number. If that doesn't work to unlock it then you need a new smart chip.
