I e been trying to thread a toyota zigline auto 22 and the thread on the need and the bobbin keep getting caught up on the inside where the bobbin goes... I noticed the metal hook piece the bobbin clicks into keeps catching on the hook part then wraps around the bobbin holder then unwraps and knots up. Please help

I was just given a Pro line model BL4-738D. It belonged to the mother of a friend of mine. Mother passed away, friend does not sew. It does have an instruction booklet I could copy and mail to you. This machine is 22 years old. Does that sound like it would work for you? email [email protected]

if the machine has a briggs and stratton engine with a primer next to the fuel cap?? your problem wil be the carby diaphram remove the tank and carby to replace the gasket and diaphram under the carby

it may not be screwed in correctly -- the spigot. mine seems to get out of wack after just being stored for a while

That is the intake tube. You have to remove the rewind starter housing and the armature (what the sparkplug wire is hooked to) and unscrew it. IfI knew the engine model and type numbers, I could tell you the part number for the tube. They are located around the spark plug and stamped into the cover. Model-Type-Code.
