Mini split heat mode fan blows hot air in low for about 30 minutes then goes into high as selected on remote. Changed remote batteries. Temperature selected on remote at least 10 degrees above ambie

Unit beeps and light flashed when remote buttons pushed. Unit opens immediately. Heat starts in about 5 minutes with low fan even though "high" selected on remote. Changing the fan speed with remote does not change the fan speed of the unit, even though the light flashes and the unit beeps. Fan goes into high speed after 25-30 minutes.

This happens when I put the unit on for the first time in a day. It is not hot. Also, I checked all the filters - they are clean (unit has been used sparingly - it is only one year old.) But thanks for the naswer.

That is most likely the unit overheating and trying to cool itself off. Check any filters that are on it to be sure they are clean.

This happens when the unit has not been used in the past 24 hours. Filters were all cleaned a few weeks ago and all look very clean. Unit is uned sparingly. But thanks for the answer.

I am not able to get the unit to change from air conditioning to heat

Unfortunately these units are not user fixable , beyond checking for power and checking battery in remote. You would need to call a pro who is able to get service information and has special digital logic meters to diagnose and repair .

Senville mini split displays a "defrost" symbol????

It's a heat pump and that is how they work. But it shouldn't be cycling so much unless you live in Minnesota? The colder it is outside the more chance that the outside coil will freeze so it will go into defrost. It may be low on charge or have leak as well. Call a tech to verify.

Comfort star

Make sure the indoor filters are clean. The outside unit will continue to run until the indoor reaches the temperature you have selected. Dirty filters can throw the temperature out. Its common for outdoor units to freeze up when on heating mode if the ambient air temperature is below 5 degrees Celcius.. The machine should however, defrost itself. There could be a problem with one of the pipe or air sensors on the outdoor unit.

Fan will only blow on low when heat is on

your fan most likely is wired for low speed for heat which is common. this should be determined when furnace is set up properly. motors that aren't modulating motors and are multispeed motors typically have low medium and high taps that come off the motor and go to the corresponding relay on the board. low and medium speeds are used for heat and high and medium speeds are used for cooling. but only one speed for heat and one speed for cooling many times medium never gets used. im not familiar with klimaire is this a mini split system and not a regular air handler. cause speed control should be adjustable from the remote. if its a split but if not reaching desired speed due to a malfunction in the units could cause it to run low speed just to maintain the temperature exiting the indoor unit.

The unit only blows out hot air. It doesn't switch to ac mode @ all. What is the problem?

Make sure the control or the remote has actually changed the mode setting to cool function. Try new batteries if necessary or see if the main unit has an overide or manual control to select cooling only. It may be that the compressor is not running at all. The hot air you are feeling may be the room temperature air... Can you hear if the compressor is running or is it just the fan ??

If it is still stuck on heat mode, the reversing valve may be jammed.

We just moved into a rental. It has the Fugitsu wall-mounted Air-conditioner model: ar-jw2 but, there was no manual left behind and we are trying to use the heat, however, it just blows cool air, we're not...

Look, if you select a temperature above ambient temperature, it will switch from cooling to heating.(assuming that the aircon has a heat pump. most do these days.) Just dont rush the aircon because every time you make a setting change, it takes a while to regulate.

Airconditioner LG LSk181-N2 shutting off

Sounds like your aircon is stuck on heating mode. Or. The outdoor fan speed is affected by ambient temperature, or low refrigerant. In heating mode the indoor fan will come on for a while to sense temperature and will then wait for the outdoor unit to pump up pressure and build up heat.

Soleus KFGHP-09-ID Mini Split

This is normal operation for these styles of minisplits. The thermostat is not in the remote but is located on the return air of the indoor coil, so the air needs to be flowing in order for the thermostat to measure the rooms temperature. Set your fan speed to auto and the fan will slow down when setpoint tempurature is met.
