The 'Ra' refers to Radium - used in the 'lume' on the hands and sometimes hour markers. The 10krgp refers to 10 karat rolled gold plate - it just means it's gold plated and not solid gold.
Can't help with the date, though.

SOURCE: watch dial says 'WITTNAUER

Go to "www.allamericanwatches.com/" which is the Boluva site but they deal in this make. Put "straps" into their search box and a list of straps appears.

Alternatively, go to "wittnauer.watches-collection.com/". This company sells replicas, so presumably will be able to offer you a replacement strap.

SOURCE: This watch has a black round face, no numbers

I bet it's a bedat it has a sideways 8 symbol for infinity. By chance eBay. There is a seller who sells authentic bedat parts. Other than that google it online there are only a handful in the us. I have a women's watch I need repaired as well. I need a crystal and can't find anyone who deals in bedat anymore. Good luck I know this was written a long time ago maybe u can help me!

Have ladies Elgin watch w/ tiny face, EX801-007 5Y30, made after 1968. Uses tiny 376 battery. # 376 the watch battery has, is much smaller than new 376 battery. Who sells battery to fit this watch?

Might be a silly answer, but have you tried the thee Elgin site? Also try a Dollar store. They have some very small batteries that I use for my older watches. :-)

The Clasp broke on My Elgin watch. Is that under warranty? Jeweler says he can not fix it. It is 1 1/2 yrs old

I don't know the details of the guarantee for your watch but most makers exclude anything that is not inside the case, e.g. strap, crystal or anything else that you are likely to damage and want repairing!

I suggest you contact Elgin and see if they can sell yo another strap.

Need to add links to a new Elgin watch band. The number on back of watch is SR626sw

That's the battery number for the watch also known as the #377. It's the most common watch battery in the world. Your model number is located at the bottom of the dial (face) below the six-o'clock position. You will need a 10 power jeweler's loupe or magnifying glass to see it and read it. Jot down the number and contact Elgin directly (MZ Berger Co,) for the extra links.
