The 4th generation IPads do not support ios 11. It might be a good time to replace your IPad if your want ios 11. The regular 10 inch ipad now goes for $330. I own one and have been pleased with it so far.

I've had the same thing happen to me. Some of my apps are no longer available.Unless apps are continually updated, they may be left by the wayside. I heard that Apple gave many warnings to app developers to update them before IOS 11 but many just left them there not updated for 2 years.It looks like the app you mentioned had not been updated since Dec 2011. You make consider other apps that are available to help keep your credit info safe. Banks and other credit establishments have pretty good secure apps that encrypt your numbers, purchases and personal info.
I have heard that some people may try to go back to IOS 10 ( to get some of the apps that may still be up available on their iCloud or computer) but I think it only works on older iPhones and/or iPads. Hope that helps.

Candy crush issue is mainly because of updated version of IOS on ipads ... update your ios on ipad and re-download the game. it will work properly..

The current iOS is 8.1. If you want to update your iPad,

• make sure you have iTunes on your current computer;
• connect your iPad via the USB cable included with the iPad;
• select your iPad in the iTunes menus;
• click the "Check for Update" button in the Summary screen.

iTunes will display a message that will either allow you to update your iPad, or let you know that your current version is updated. For First Gen iPads, the latest iOS is 5.1.1.

Depends, When you have an iPad first generation, you can't update to iOS 6. All other iPads can upgrade to iOS 8.0.
In the few years your iPad is around, the processors are much faster. There is more internal memory and so on. Please to avoid you can't upgrade your next iPad, don't buy a second or third generation.
If you have a newer iPad than the first generation, just goto settings, general, an then the second line from the top says software update. Press that one. Your iPad will look if any update is available, and suggest to download and install it.
But the best way to upgrade, is connecting the iPad to iTunes and click on the name of the iPad on the left side in the menu, then click on upgrade.

For the iPad first generation (A1219) before iOS 5 to update is only possible with connecting the device to iTunes on a computer. Plug it into your computer and open up itunes under devices click on your ipad and then click on check for update.
