To eliminate a dishwasher problem, run a heavy 3 pronged extension cord from a known working outlet to the dishwasher and plug the dishwasher into the cord. If you still have no power (dishwasher is not showing any signs of life) then it is a dishwasher problem (circuit board, bad connection from dishwasher cord to dishwasher, etc).

If the dishwasher actually shows signs of life, then you may have a tripped breaker. Check the breaker to make sure it is on and that the tab is not either in the center or the off position. Also, try moving the dishwasher cord's plug from the outlet it is currently in to another outlet in the under sink area. There is a chance that the plug got switched from the normal outlet to the outlet that controls the garbage disposal, that outlet should only be hot when the disposal wall switch is flipped to the on position.

HOW TO FIX LE ERROR CODE ON SAMSUNG DISHWASHER DMR78AHS

An LE error code on your dishwasher stands for "LEaking."

There is, what I call, a drip pan on the bottom that the water is dripping into. Remove your dishwasher and take off the lower the side panels to get a look inside the drip pan. If you have water in there, try to find out where it's coming from.

If there are no signs of water, tip the dishwasher over on its side and remove the plastic panel on the bottom of the dishwasher. Once removed, you can disconnect the connector to the leak sensor (it's mounted upside-down, with 4 wires coming out of it. If I remember right, the wires are blue and red).

Flip the dishwasher back upright and plug it in and see if your LE error code pops back on. If it pops back on, then you have a bad board. If it doesn't, then you either have a leak, or the "fangs" on the leak detector are shorting out, somehow.

Good luck!

MY BRAND NEW SAMSUNG DISHWASHER HAS POWER BUT WONT START THE WASH THE WASH CYCLE THE TWO CYCLE LIGHTS JUST KEEP BLINKING

What 2 cycle lights? Samsung dishwashers indicate problems and errors by making different lights light up and/or flash. We would need to know the model number too.

What is a 5e code on the Samsung dishwasher mean ?

According to Samsung it is a drain error. Best advice from Samsung is: Check whether the drain hose is clogged or folded. If the problem continues, close the water supply valve, and then contact an authorized Samsung service center.

My drain hose was not clogged or folded and the error code would go away at best for a day of so. Finally, it would not go away at all. My solution was to simply go to e-bay and for $27 had a new pump shipped to me. Less than 15 minutes to change out and no problem since.

Be aware that the new pump may make noise for the first few runs, but this goes away. I figure the pump just needed to run in for a bit.

Pump is on bottom. Remove and invert dishwasher. Remove screws holding bottom plastic cover and pump is right there. Unhook the wire harness to the sensor in the plastic cover. Remove the wires to the pump (two different wires, I would make a note of where each color went). Turn the pump about a quarter turn to the left and it comes right off. Put the new pump in the same position as the pump was when removed. Push in and turn to the right until it locks in place. Replace wires to pump and the plastic cover. Screw plastic cover in place, turn the dishwasher back upright and reinstall. Once in place and all plumbing and electrical connections reconnected it should work without a hitch.

Error code He

he error code is a heating error. check the wire connections to the heater, if no problem then you need to check for continuity to the heating element. You'll need a meter to do this. The heater assembly may need replacing. I think they run around $60. We had a Samsung DW for 4 years...finally gave up & replaced with a GE which has been working well.

What does mean error code 9e

THIS CODE INDICATES THAT THE WATER LEVEL SENSOR LOCATED ON THE SIDE OF THE D/W IS FULL OF GUNK AND DEBRES (I/E MOLD AND DEPOSITS) YOU HAVE TO UNINSTALL THE DISHWASHER, AND TAKE THE LEFT SIDE OF THE PANEL OFF ON THIS UNIT AND CLEAN THAT BOX OUT BY UNSCREWING THE WATER INLET HOUSING INSIDE THE DISHWASHER. (THAT GRAY SCREEN) UNSCREW THIS INLET ON THE LEFT INSIDE THE DISHWASHER. NOTE: THERE IS A SEAL ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THIS. DISCONNECT THE WIRE HARNESS AND THE CLAMP ON THE REAR RIGHT SIDE OF THE FLOAT BOX. BE SURE NOT TO GET ANY WATER INSIDE OF THE DISHWASHER OR YOU WILL HAVE TO DRY IT UP OR WAIT FOR IT TO EVAPORATE. I WOULD SUGGEST USING PAPER TOWEL WHEN REMOVING THIS PART. NOW YOU HAVE THE OPTION OF EITHER CLEANING IT OUT BY DISASSEMBLING THE BOX AND GETTING THE BACTERIA OUT, OR SIMPLY ORDERING A NEW ONE AND JUST INSTALLING IT. ONCE THE BOX IS CLEANED OUT, THE FLOAT MECHANISM IN THE UNIT CAN FLOAT FREELY TELLING THE WATER WHEN TO SHUT OFF. ONLY PERFORM THIS REPAIR ON A DISHWASHER THAT HAS THE POWER OFF TO IT.

Error code PE on Samsung dishwasher DMR78AHS

I too have the same problem with my dishwasher. Didn't know about the circuit breaker trick. Will give a try. My husband is ready to throw all our Samsung appliances in the trash. We don't recommend them at all. Re-modeled our kitchen 4 years ago and had all new Samsung appliances installed. What a mistake. In the 1st year we had 2 service calls on the dishwasher, 2 on the stove and 1 on the refrigerator. Have had many problems with the dishwasher. Have been in touch with the company but their approach is you bought it your stuck with it. Thanks for the trick to fix PE error code. I'm NOT getting it fixed. I'll use it till I can't use it anymore then go buy something else.

DMR78AHS error code HE

Hi, the HE codes refer to temperature errors. The HE codes refer to heater problems. These are all functional errors that require a certified service technician, but disconnecting the circuit breaker in the meantime can prevent the problem from growing worse.
