I have a Whirlpool Duet Front load washer. Been working fine for past 7 years. Washed 1st load of clothes, no issue. During 2nd load machine beeps and displays F 02 code in last 12 minutes of cycle. Cleared the code, machine resumed cycle and within a minute beeps and displays code again. Had to unplug for several minutes in order to clear code and turn off unit. Since load never got to spin cycle and clothes were soaking wet, I decided to turn knob to drain/spin cycle. Washer spins and drains but makes a loud knocking noise. Any ideas on what the problem might be?

Remove the front panel and you will see two metal guides attached to the front of the frame. One of them will probably be bent and the transmission assembly will have jumped over one or the other of the guides. You need to manually pull it back to center then straighten the bent guide. May have been caused by load being out of balance or machine not properly leveled. Good luck.

GE WPXH214ACC Washer drum makes loud noise when spinning sometimes. We've had it since 2005 & never had this happen before. Washer is level, must stop & redistribute clothes to correct. Just started happening now.

what kinda noise, sqeeling, or clunking, mite be sumthing small that made its way behind ajatator an is causeing noise..or one of the springs that hold it broke..sorry i dont no what kind of noise.....

First check your washer plug to see if the connections are tightly screwed. Next check your filter if you haven't for long.

Remove the 3 screws at the bottom of the front panel under the washer door. Your filter door will be light brown. If you find a hose there it is to drain out excess water (water that could not be drained by your pump) After you hv drained unscrew the cap and remove all the junk inside. Have a large plastic bag to catch junk and water. Refit carefully after cleaning out. If not solved, something shd be blocking your pump, check this out
