It sounds that the main board to your TV have shorted component/s [ICs, Capacitors Etc..] In this case, it will be better to contact any experienced service technician, or, the authorized service center for Hanspree; to get this fault rectified. Actually, the troubleshooting to this problem will be a skilled one, that a normal user can't do.

this is a big problem which you can't solve by yourself. some times software problem , the tv want to be upgraded. this operation is very delicate and must be performed by a professional technician . second solution is to remove the digital board, here again , that board is expensive and i know you can;t take risk to do by yourself.
Solution. if you are under warranty call the company which will fix for free or bring it in repair shop.

Sounds like a power supply issue. Is it out of warranty? If it is, open it up and check the power supply bd. for swollen capacitors....

This is due to the main av board having failed, The board number is.... J328FE16E Google or Ebay it to find a replacement, These are common for going and are easy to replace but finding one is the hard part!!

It should be the mainboard, for order a new one you will need your medel number and product code, located in the back of the tv next to the serial number.

Technically, the television should protect itself from doing any damage, but sometimes that doesn't happen correctly.
When you say that they sound like the speakers are blown, can you describe that sound?
If it sounds like they're blown, they likely are.  It's probably about the same cost to repair the speakers (if out of warranty), than to buy an external amp and speakers.

Thanks but I no longer require assistance. I tried to remove my post but it does not seem possible. I no longer need assistance because I sent the TV back. There is no solution as there is no universal remote code --- ridiculous for a brand new TV set that most people are probably going to want to use with cable!
