How do I reset the BIOS password on a Toshiba satellite A105?

I have tried to remove the battery but it's soldiered to the motherboard so I can not remove it. I also have tried to enter passwords that I thought were true that resulted in being completely locked out. :( Now it asks for the password before it even boots. I heard that I can short two pins in order to reset the CMOS settings to factory.

Tap the restart or turn on the computer, soon as you turn on the computer, tap the f12 button until you get to the pat were it said delete and reboot. And just reboot. That will delete old passwords an delete everything and bring it back to factory default

Can power on password be reset

It maybe possible to reset the Power on Password by removing the BIOS battery for 20 mins then insert the battery back into the motherboard.
If it does not reset the Power on password the this password is stored in an EEPROM chip and it is very difficult to remove and there are no backdoor passwords.

I have a satellite A105 and When i turn it on it asks for password but I don't have the password. So how to I get past this to be able to use it again?

just remove the cmos battery

the bios stores the password and the cmos battery provides it power to store it

if you remove cmos battery the bios reverts to factory settings and the password is removed

cmos battery is different than the laptop backup battery

cmos battery is found inside the laptop case on the motherboard, you will have to open the laptop to remove the cmos battery
