SOURCE: Batteries Corrodided in camera

Try taking a #2 pencil and use the eraser on the contacts inside the camera to clean them off. Dont use anything to rough.
If this doesn't work try taking it to a local camera shop to get them to send it off for repair.

Put new batteries in but there still is no power

Check if your using the recomended batteries for this camera Easyshare C613. The batteries are 2AA Ni-MH batteries, 2 AA Lithium batteries or 2 AA Alkaline batteries. If your use this kind of batteries and they are new out from the box try this steps.
1. Remove the memory card and the battery on the camera
2. Clean the both battery contacts with clean dry cloth
3. Put the battery back in the camera in correctly
4. Set the camera in Auto "it's the camera icon on the dial of the camera."
5. Turn it on
*If it turns ON take photos and review them check if it will stay on
*If it doesn't turn ON or stay ON contact Kodak support line @ 1-800-235-6325 (23KODAK). You can also try to log on to www.kodak.com/go/stepbystep.

Is the camera LENs won't retract? Try to use a brand new different recomended batteries like alkaline batteries or lithium batteries. If your using a rechargable batteries make sure that they are fully charge. You can also try to turn the camera ON without using memory card. Remove the memory card on the camera. Then put a new recomended battery, try to turn it ON if the camera will not turn ON or stay ON call kodak support line. Support in English and Spanish is available at 1-800-235-6325 (23KODAK)

Kodak M1033 shuts off

The problem you describe is frequently the result of dirty/corroded battery contacts in the camera. Try removing the batteries and cleaning the inside contacts with a fine wire brush, steel wool, or fine sandpaper. Remove any residue left from the cleaning, then replace the batteries. Hopefully all will be well.

If the cleaning doesn't work you might want to check the Kodak troubleshooting guide at:
