Look for any messages in the status bar of Internet Explorer and either search Google for the contents of the message or post them here.
When does this refresh problem happen? Does it happen constantly or when you perform specific actions?
Do you mean the page refreshes (like when you press the reload button on Internet Explorer) or does something also happen to your desktop as you mentioned?
Do you mean the Task Bar? if it is, ctrl+alt+del then go to File > New Task (Run...) then type explorer. Or click Auto on your monitor, to set the screen back to default view. Hope this helps.
if the battery is fully charged, it won't animate. but there will be a little electrical plug over the battery symbol. as long as the plug is there, your good.
Ok if you were like me and updated your mcafee security and it updated your siteadvisor it moved it from by your status bar to your toolbar. I uninstalled mcafee internet security, then reinstalled it using the custom setting. After you do that do not install siteadvisor. Once all that is done install mcafee siteadvisor for firefox on its own and this should solve the problem it worked for me.
Have you tried unpluging your printer from the computer as well as unpluging the printer from the electrical? If that doesn't work you should start from scratch... that is remove the printer from the computer memory, delete it, turn off the computer, turn on the computer and go through the installation process as if you just purchased the printer. Barring any mechanical problems as in jams or the such, the printer should return to operational status.
there should be a popdown menu that will show status.... just move the mouse pointer to the status she wants. also i belive (it's been awhile since i used yahoo) that if she right clicks on the icon for yahoo in the lower right hand corner of her task bar she will be able to change status from there
