Samsung dishwasher PE signal on, how do I clear water hose?

inspect the float switch it might prevent the dishwasher from filling with water if its malfunctioning or stuck

Error Code: PE
Reason For Error Code: Half-load error
Repair and or check: Unplug the dishwasher. Reconnect any loose wires on the distributor plate motor and microswitch. Replace the wire harness if it is damaged. If the wires are not damaged, replace the distributor motor assembly. This includes the distributor plate motor and the microswitch.
Parts Needed: Distributor motor assembly

remove the pump discharge hose at the pump and clean out the pump

Repair and or check: Check for water leak under the dishwasher. Check the hoses, drain pump and tub. Replace any leaking components.

We had the same problem and thanks to a woman who posted a solution in January, we were able to fix it at home at no cost. The solution is to pull out the unit, remove the panel on the left side of unit, tap on the clear box that is at the bottom of the unit ~ it has a float in there that got stuck, therefore signalling the dishwasher that there is a low water level. After tapping on that, the float came back up to the top of that clear box (we started the dishwasher before this procedure in order for the water to flow into the dishwasher). That's all it took. I then put a cup of white vinegar into the dishwasher to clean some of the gunk out of the unit. Our unit is only 1-1/2 years old. Hope this helps.

Its ususally in your drain hose most has a check valve in them now and corn gets in and clogs it wet vac it out pull off your drain hose also check your garbage disposal too if its hooked up to it make sure the holes cleaned and clear.:)

The drain hose from the dishwasher may be partially or fully clogged with food stuffs like peas, corn, green beans, or other foods. disconnect the drain hose and clear debris from drain hose and run threw drain cycle.

I too have the same problem with my dishwasher. Didn't know about the circuit breaker trick. Will give a try. My husband is ready to throw all our Samsung appliances in the trash. We don't recommend them at all. Re-modeled our kitchen 4 years ago and had all new Samsung appliances installed. What a mistake. In the 1st year we had 2 service calls on the dishwasher, 2 on the stove and 1 on the refrigerator. Have had many problems with the dishwasher. Have been in touch with the company but their approach is you bought it your stuck with it. Thanks for the trick to fix PE error code. I'm NOT getting it fixed. I'll use it till I can't use it anymore then go buy something else.

EE1/HE/HE1

The EE and HE codes refer to temperature errors. The EE1 designation refers to a thermistor issue, and the HE codes refer to heater problems. These are all functional errors that require a certified service technician, but disconnecting the circuit breaker in the meantime can prevent the problem from growing worse.

4E/4E1

The 4E codes indicate a problem with the water supply. If you see the 4E code, make sure the water supply line is correctly attached and open and not frozen or clogged. If you get a 4E1 code, check the temperature of the incoming water supply and ensure that it is below 176 degrees. If either of these issues persist despite your best efforts, contact a repair center.

5E

The 5E code means there is a problem with the drain. Make sure the drain hose and openings are not clogged or obstructed. If they are not, and the code remains, disconnect the circuit breaker to reduce the risk of electric shock and contact a service center.

oE/9E

The oE and 9E codes refer to issues with the water level. The oE code means that the dishwasher is filling too much, and the 9E code means it is not filling enough. Disconnect the circuit breaker for safety and contact a repair center.

LE

The LE code indicates a leak. To keep from voiding your warranty, do not attempt to diagnose and repair the leak yourself. Close the water supply valve and disconnect the circuit breaker to avoid electric shock and contact a repair technician.

6E2/PE

The 6E2 and PE codes both indicate functional errors that must be repaired by a professional. The 6E2 code indicates a pressed key error, and the PE code refers to a problem with the half-load function. Disconnect the circuit breaker in either case and contact a repair service.
