HOW DO I GET A MANUAL FOR RAC 515F SAT NAV

I have an RAC 515F sat nav and it needs updating.
Can you please advise on how to do this for free.

You should be able to just press the screen and it'll come back to life. Failing that, press the on/off switch - if it switches on, go to Navigate, if it switches off, switch it back on again and go to Navigate.

Unless the company who made the GPS has released an update you can't, if you attempt to use any otrher map program u run a very good risk of locking up the programming and rendering the GPS useless, I see this all the time where users have downloaded a none manufacturer software package in an attempt to save the $100 the new Maps cost, the GPS locks up as a resault

Bad battery. Look up your model number on the intrnet and it should tell you what batteries you need.

hi is there anyone out there can tell me how to reformat my memory card for my RAC sat nav 200 gps. Only tried to run the software that comes with it ,but cant seem to see anywhere to download new and update the card. Thanks from neil. [email protected]

Try updating through website.

make sure the batteryb is fully charged by AC charger not car charger which is only a mani\tenance charge

I hope everybody visiting this webpage will find this answer useful.

First of all, ignore the antenna connector recommended within the RAC Sat Nav 200 manual, it's wrong.

What you need is the :

GPS Antenna 1M Length MMCX with a
180 degrees straight connector.

Make sure it's a MMCX straight connector.

Plug in the antenna and within half a minute of typing your postcode destination into the Sat Nav the reception will have been picked up.

Hope this saves everybody a lot of hassle.
