Check the data cable is properly fixed. Can you hear the beep sound while booting. Check the ram inside the cpu.

Actually, I had the same problem. It's probably one of two things: 1) Set your Power Saving mode for the monitor to "NEVER" turn off automatically. 2) Sometimes if its an Energy Star model (probably is), it can't be plugged into an outlet with a lot of other stuff. 3) Try unplugging from current outlet to another one and also disconnect VGA cable. Then plug back VGA cable and replug into new outlet.

How to fix my monitor when its in sleep mode

Hi,
I assume this is a Desktop computer:
The Monitor receives, graphics or text from the PC (personal computer) and displays it on the screen.of the Monitor.
If you see a message on the screen that says * NO SIGNAL * in most cases the Monitor is good, and the Monitor is either not connected to the PC or there is a problem with the PC Check the connections and the video card.
The problem could also be related a failure of the motherboard, memory or the processor

My Toshiba's laptop's sleep and charge USB port

It's possible to fix. First go to device manager and you should see something like "USB Root Hub". Double click to open it, go over to power management, and "Uncheck" "Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power". Do this for all that say USB Root Hub. Next go to "Power Options" then "Edit Plan Settings" (accessible through "choose when to put the computer to sleep") and select "Change Advanced Power Settings". Next, make sure you do this in all of your power settings, but scroll down to an icon called USB settings. Expand the selection, then expand the "USB selective suspend setting". Choose, both on battery and plugged in if you want, to Disable the selective suspend. Finish and apply. Also, to confirm, you know that the USB device (IPod) but be plugged into the eSATA port, correct? It doubles as a USB port and is the only one capable of charging.

My Computer boots and montitor says Going to sleep and flashes VGA : NO signal and goes off

Check under "Power Options" of the control panel of Windows that "Turn off Monitor" is set to "Never" Also check under the advanced tab of "Power options" that "When I press the sleep button on my computer" its set to "Do Nothing"

This will most likely solve your problem. the sleep button may be stuck on the keyboard causing the pc to quickly go into sleep mode

Computer goes to sleep before it even starts up

Hi there, it appears as though the Power Options are set too short a time and the PC is going into sleep mode. Go to Start menu/Control Panel and look for Power options. Set them all to "never" This will prevent her PC from going into sleep mode. Good Luck.

LCD Monitor

Hi rhymers3,

First, check that monitor power save is disabled. Right click on desktop, properties, Screen Save tab, power button. Select "Never" for the "Turn Off Monitor" drop-down box.

Also, check that the monitor itself doesn't have any power save/ sleep options enabled.

Another possibility is a faulty graphics card or faulty cable to the monitor - try moving the cable/card and see if the image comes and goes.

Try using a different (lower) display resolution. It could be that the one you currently have is just on the limits of not working with that monitor.

Good luck.

AOC Monitor says "no signal" and won't wake up!

This monitor refuses to wake up because it cannot find the signal from the computer.

When the light is amber, force the pc to shut down by holding the power button until all lights go off. Then, after about 10 seconds, power the pc back up again.

If this does not start your monitor, unplug all the monitors connections and plug them back in again. These things should reform the connection from the pc to the monitor.

good luck
