Hi Friends, I'm using Blackberry 8520 Mobile .. Before working my mobile "Whatsapp" but now not working come to this message "verification requires a working wifi or cellular data connection but we couldn't find either one" What problem please help me..
Hi @ Anonymous , please forget the WIFI Network on your Blackberry and do another scan, it will ask you to enter your WIFI password again. See if it works.
Unfortunately, with the blackberry, you are only able to connect to email, facebook and blackberry messenger using the blackberry internet service. You are able to access the browser and some other apps using a wifi connection though.
you can surf the net on a wifi network even of you dont have a data plan. turn the wifi on then select "set up wifi network" then just follow the instructions to be able to connect to the network. if you still can't after doing this, it might be because the signal of the network is not that strong.
regarding the bluetooth, go to media, then press the menu button (the bb logo), then select "receive via bluetooth" for your bb to receive the file from your laptop/other phones.
If you installed custom firmware(psp hacked firmware 3.51m33 and up ) well you cant go to the PlayStation store sorry, but you can connect to wifi spots at the internet browser.
I have not seen any other cases of complete Wifi connection removal - there would be no point in knobling a cost-saving, valuable capability. More likely it has simply been disabled, and can be re-enabled, and you can add profiles for the wifi spots that are active at work/home. see http://www.blackberry.com/newsletters/connection/business/i508/tips-tricks.shtml
