My Igloo ice 102C is making a loud noise when it pumps in water to make Ice. How do I fix this

There are video's on google that have trouble shooting for Igloo ice maker types and for the Igloo ice company and YouTube.

A loud noise when turning on an Igloo portable ice maker could indicate a problem with the compressor or a malfunctioning fan. It is recommended to unplug the appliance and have it inspected and repaired by a qualified technician.

Mine is similar and the little pump motor failed on it. Bought
a new unit. Couldn't find a pump for it

Most ice makers will use ordinary tap water.
Suggest check with Igloo for your model just to make sure.

If ice is in the tray it could be that the heating element designed to slightly melt the ice so it can be pushed out, is open and needs replacement. But you might find that the cost of element is more than a new icemaker. Be careful

Hi I had the exact same issue after about a year of running my igloo ice maker non stop. To fix it I held in the on/off button and select button at the same time for about 30 sec and TADA!! Back to making ice.
If that doesn't work I've also read to leave machine unplugged for 6 hrs and then hold in on/off button for 10 seconds. Good Luck!!!!

The tray full may be triggered or stuck or another problem may exist. Look for what senses the ice being full and also check with Curtis support:
(another person was tld to do this and it workd:
1. turn machine on . 2. press the select button for 10 sec. then 3. press the power button for 10 sec. and then turn off the machine and unplug it for 6 hours.
