IF windows 7 or windows 8 then first shrink partition D and then extend C drive partition which will increase the c drive partition.

Disks are cheap. Buy a bigger disk. There are free disk cloning software packages (aomei) that work great.
There are ways to use flash drives as available disk space, but they don't work very well.
You can try and compress your file this will give you 15 to 20 percent more space. Also, download CCleaner and run it this will also help clean up disk space. And run disk cleaner and last run a defrag
