What can I do to remove laptop C partition low disk space error for installing my newly downloaded games? This low disk space error just stopped me several times to install my games, though I have deleted all unnecessary files, folders and programs there.

Which operating System you are having on Laptop.

IF windows 7 or windows 8 then first shrink partition D and then extend C drive partition which will increase the c drive partition.

If not, I know there is a video tutorial that talked about how to extend partition space step by step:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jCeT7CbsKk
This tutorial has ever successfully helped extended the partition space of my boy fiend's computer. If you are interested, you also can check it.
Remember to firstly back up all partition data in case of data loss problems.

Disks are cheap. Buy a bigger disk. There are free disk cloning software packages (aomei) that work great.

There are ways to use flash drives as available disk space, but they don't work very well.

You can try and compress your file this will give you 15 to 20 percent more space. Also, download CCleaner and run it this will also help clean up disk space. And run disk cleaner and last run a defrag

SOURCE: How to expand laptop C partition space?

Expand your C partition space well? Still get the same low disk space problem?
OK! To resolve this low disk space problem, you can try to run this software to freely resize your partition space:
http://www.resize-c.com/
But, if this also makes no difference, your drive partition may not have enough free space there. Just consider buying new one to replace it timely.
Of course, as they've mentioned above, partition data backups in advance is really necessary for you to avoid unexpected data loss.

Check your laptop drive free space and download partition resizing tool to resize all your partition space:
http://www.resize-c.com/
You'd better reasonably resize the partition space in case that similar low disk space problem happens again in the future.
Also save partition data well in case of unwanted data loss.

Laptop C partition low disk space

Make sure your hard disk has enough space. Most often when the error massage comes it will tell you how much free space is required to install the game look keenly and know how much space is required then either move all media files mainly video files especially downloaded in the download folder to an alternative partition and only leave windows and installed program on Local Disk C. Other wise if your hard disk capacity is very small then am afraid that you will have to get a bigger hard disk.

How to cope with Laptop C partition low disk space error problem

Hi Belinda
Basically it is a good idea to use the "C" drive for the Operating System (Windows) and minimal 3rd party software.
Move all Movies, Music & Photo's to another drive. The "D" drive.
This can be internal or external depending on the computer.
An external 1 to 4 Terrabyte drive on the USB port is really useful actually... it is really mandatory these days to perform backups & keep the big files on. Like Movies & Music & Photos.
To give you long lasting capabilities into the future I would suggest something like this Dock Drive
http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/NewerTech/Voyager/Hard_Drive_Dock
You get to choose which drive to plug in and they can be stored securely (in tinfoil antistatic) when not in use.
The dock will allow you to keep a bootable emergency drive on one drive and a backup of all your movies on another and even a copy of all your music on another. This is my preferred method as it's future proof. if your computer gets broken or stolen then you still have a copy of everything. I prefer to use the 3.5 inch (larger) drive as they have faster access & backup capability. The 2.5" drives are great for portability & run on 5volts only so are not as fast. The dock can take either.
Hope this Helps

The partitions D,E and F may system partitions for tools like system restore and diagnostics. I would suggest removing some stuff from C:, if that is not an option you could consider a hard drive upgrade.

Why does my laptop show low disc space?

Hello

The low disc space message refers to the amount of free disc space on your c drive. The c drive is the drive on which your windows is installed, thus yu need to delete some games or not neccesary files to free up some space on your drive. Hope this can help you.

Kind regards
