Go into the menu of the projector and find the option "rotate screen", "ceiling mount" or something to that effect.

SOURCE: I mounted the projector on the ceiling and need to flip the image

Hey there jpotto, You will need to use the installation menu. Inside you will find an option called image flip. Options are HV, H, V. Check it out. It specifically is used for ceiling mounts. Good Luck!

SOURCE: Picture is upside down on screen

go into the menu using either your remote or the button on the projector itself. At the top are several options i.e. "picture" scr-adj. Click over to the right ONCE to "SCR-ADJ" this stands for source adjust. Then look for something called like PRJ mode (projection mode) This tells the projector which direction to display the image so that incase you want to hang it from the ceiling upside down you can. Click down to that menu option. You will then have to click over to the right in order to see your options. If you are using it hanging on a ceiling you want it to say "ceiling front" if it is merely sitting on a cart or a shelf just put it on "front".

Good luck.

go into the menu, go to settings, image, and select ceiling (it's probably on "front" right now).

Why would the images be upside down

All astronomical telescopes show the image upside down. For terrestrial use, you need a erect image prism.

Runco picture upside down

Yes possibly because you have done a complete system reset and not a lamp hour reset so you will need to go into image or screen settings and select front view ceiling mount configuration

Image on menu good but upside and image on cable bad and uspide and after a minute or two tv turn off and on repetivly LN22A450

Sounds like age has caught up with it and may have component failure which for an item that age is not worth it, your only possible chance may be to factory reset it back to its original state this feature should be found in its install/menu settings this will wipe all settings made in its life. Then you will need to reset every thing but hope the problem has cleared in this process.
If not then a new one is needed, as repair would be costly and I doubt worth it in the long run.

Hope this helps..........

I got cryptic answer regarding the problem that the picture on the monitor on my camcroder GZ-HM400 is upside down.

There is a switch within the camera that controls the orientation of the LCD image. When the screen is flipped upside down, the switch is supposed to tell the camera to flip the image upside down as well. If this switch is damaged, the camcorder gets the wrong signal and the image will be displayed upside down. This can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.

My name is Rick and I'm a professional repair technician with over 20 years in the business and have repaired many of these. I'm semi retired and work from home with little overhead so I can keep repair costs low. If you decide to have the camera repaired, please click HERE for a directory listing that suits your needs.

We have inherited a Sanyo Pro-X multiverse projector without an instruction manual. The projector was fixed to a ceiling but we would like to use it freestanding. When attempting to use the projector this...

You need to turn off the ceiling mode to get the picture to project correctly. This is in the Settings Menu. See page 37 of the manual which is currently available here: http://cncms.com.au/SANYO-IMs/Commercial-Industrial/plcsw30_im.pdf .

Press Menu. Then use the left/right arrows to move to the icon with the projector and screen shown. (Note: right now this row will be on the bottom of your screen and the icon will be to the left side of the row.) Press the down arrow and move to the Ceiling icon with the R. It should be the seventh icon from the upside down "Up" arrow; it's next to the Capture icon with a camera. (Normally, ceiling icon shows as an upside down R when your image is projected right-side up. There is also a rear-projector icon with a mirror image R when the image is right-side up.) Press Select and then use the arrow keys to choose the On/Off options. You may need to press Select again to save the setting.

I hope this helps.

The image is flipped upside down and won't go back I think the camera might have been dropped

THIS IS A REPAIR SHOP TASK

normally there is a micro switch fixed at the awivl head of the lcd panel. when the lcd is rotated to 180 the switch gets engaged thus turns the image upside down. iF IT IS PERMANENTLY UPSIDE DOWN yhen most probably the switch has worn out.and its not resetting.
You could try a few gentle taps to see if it releases the micro switch

Upside down image!

Hi there

I just drew the users manual and you should do the following:

Go into the setup menu and choose mirror - then just scroll left or right on the mirror and your image will change as you do this.
