I have a FAD 704 DWD, does it not have a power on light? I called for a question regarding a different issue and the service tech said it was very bad to not have the on light "on".

I contacted CE North America customer service regarding this issue for same unit. They suggested disconnecting for 10 minutes, then reconnecting, turning unit on, and changing settings and run fan on HIGH or TURBO until the EC code goes away. This didn't help with my unit. If this doesn't work, there is no repair provided. Customer Service recommended returning unit to purchase location if under warranty (1 year), however a copy of the original purchase receipt is required. Suggest a call to Customer Service Center at 866-915-1212.

Hello dinesh878 - I found the manual on the Frigidaire website. Here is the manufacturer link and hope you find all the information that you need. I will recommend taking off the last letter of the model number so you can pull up the information.

Your unit is low on freon from a sealed system leak. The sealed system should have a 5 year warranty. You need an authorized LG tech to write it up for an exchange. Check your manual and call an LG service dealer.

Sounds like bad relay on compressor or bad compressor. There is only so far you can go yourself without knowledge in electrical and AC units. Suggest you call a service tech or if you can take it to service cemter near you. Russ

That's your compressor. (the condenser is the tubing just after the compressor) First, make sure you are not using an extention cord, or if you do, make sure it is a heavy enough cord. Low voltage can cause your problem, do to a light extention cord use. Second, you may have a bad relay. (inside the box on the side of the compressor) Third, your compressor may be bad. They can be direct tested with a compressor test cord by a service tech that knows what they are doing. Bad compressor = get a new dehumidifier (too expensive to replace).

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get the water from the dehumidifier to drain out the hose. It always empties into the bucket, which means I have to empty it daily.

the beep sound means that there are ac voltage in the unit but you gona need a tech there is no removal parts in that board and sound as a bad ic is there..good luck
