Make sure the charger operates first. If it does, try this. It worked for me. Put the battery in the freezer over night. In the morning put it in the sun for several hours. You must be sure the internal batteries are fully thawed. Then recharge normally. You'll get up to 75% capacity back. If this trick doesn't work, then the battery is not repairable.

I would not even fool with it if is new, take it back either for warranty repair or replacement. If neither is an option let me know and describe what the "will not work is and I will do some more research

u can call black&decker and get one that way or go to your local hardware store or the place you bought it from and you should be able to get another one.

try to use google.com put in the make and model number, alot of times they can get you where you need to go and find a good manual

I know a lot of Dewalt nailers will not shoot properly once the battery is starting to get a little worn/has a lot of charging cycles on it. Their picky about having fresh batterys. How old is the nailer/batterys?
