Download pictures from phone to computer using usb cable

You can either download your service providers app and then download all your info from the old phone onto the app and then re download the app on your new phone and transfer the information. Or sometimes you can just ask the employees at the store to do it for you.

Seems like you are trying to download the pictures from the phone to the computer. If you are finding difficulty in doing that, then you could check this easy option to transfer it. please connect the mobile phone with a USB data cable, then click Menu--Notification--USB connected, then click Turn on USB storage to enter into U disk mode, make sure the mobile phone has SD card. Besides, you don't need to install driver.

I did not know you had to name a USB drive I think what is going on is that your trying to connect a mobile phone to your computer. What the software is doing is searching for your phone so that it can access the information off the phone. Make sure that the software your using is compatible with your phone. that you have to proper connector to the computer and do not load the phone first when installing the software wait until the software or your download is completed and installed then plug in the phone at least that has been my experience when I do my phone with my computer deal. I may not quite understand what your asking for but this is pretty basic for phone connections. Sometimes people have their phones connected and just use a Bluetooth or cable and use Windows Mobile which is free does about the same thing with phones. Allows you to download, graphics, ring tones, keep up to date calendar and other items of use. There are two ways you can do this:

1. Use USB cable. If your handset came with a USB cable or if you purchased a USB cable, connect your handset using the cable to your PC. Your PC should then show the contents of your Phone memory card (pictures, videos, musics) which can then be copied on to your PC.

2. Use Bluetooth. Turn on bluetooth on your computer and mobile phone. Make both devices discoverable. Select the picture you want to transfer and from the menu choose "send using Bluetooth". In the list of devices, please choose your computer for sending the picture. Your computer will then ask for permission to accept the file from the handset. Once you allow the file to be copied and specify a location, the picture will get copied.

Before connect you Corby to PC you must install Samsung PC Studio in your PC. You can download PC Studio and User Manual from here :

Click at software, then click at download icon.
After finishing download, install the driver. If the installation complete, you can connect your phone via USB cable data.

When you download files into computer care has to be taken to where you do the download so that for playback you go to the correct folder. Otherwise you will be SOL till you find them.

Here's how you download the pictures if your cell phone provider has disabled USB Mass Storage Mode.

With Windows XP, connect the phone to your computer using a USB cable, then in the phone open the menu, go to Tools, USB Mode, and select "Print" - wait a while, then your computer should detect the phone and ask you if you want to use scanner and camera wizard. You may not be able to preview the pictures with the wizard, but you will be able to download them.

plug the phone into your pc with a usb cable.... a window should pop up with several options.... pic the view pictures or transfer pictures to your computer... follow the steps that it asks you and it should transfer the pictures

You need to sync your phone to your PC using a usb cable and Activesync 4.5 ( free from Microsoft) or Windows Mobile Device Center ( for Vista, also free on MS download site). Download either of these programs onto your phone,
and plug your phone to your computer with the usb cable, The wizard will help you setup your connection. Once the connection is established, Activesync will generate a sync folder on your desktop. Your pictures will sync from your phone to this folder

The FAQ's on the uk samsung site say that there are no software solutions for mac yet, and the only way to transfer files are via bluetooth.. tad ordinary if you ask me!
