Loses time and date when I open batt. flap

The answers gave me the confidence to have a look and on mine the arm had come out of the catch the other end from the solenoid.I just had to push it back in. So grateful thank you very much. It's not been working for about 18 months and I couldn't afford to pay someone for something that was just a luxury. A BIG THANK YOU!!

Sound as if you have a problem with the dump valve opening too soon. Both turbo's should operate together not in stages. If you have twin turbos there will be one for each bank. The dump valve is a flap which opens when the compression becomes too high. Its operated by vacuum via a diaphragm with a lever operation. You'll be wise to have both units attended to and set so they operate as they should.

Wow you simply have got a few snags, this camera needs a reset, press reset button, yes I know you will lose time/date but at least it will sort things.

Most cordless phones can be simply reset by taking it out of the base and removing the battery. Put it back in after a minute. Note that you may lose your contacts on your phone when you reset it using this procedure.

Ii understand your problem description as the camera turns off immidietly after having shown the date and time.

Here are the steps:
1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera.
2. Clean the battery contacts.
a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth.
b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera
3. Without the memory card,turn on your camera.
4. Pls test with an alt. batt.
If you do not have access to a dif. battery.
Pls. take the batt out of the camera. Insert the charger into the unit from the main socket and turn the camera on. If the camera works you will need to replace the batt. If not you will need to order a No power repair.

Hi, I have recently purchases a Range Rover with part of the gps system left in the vehicle.The manual is Carin 522/520 .The screen for this is a sealed unit in the consol of the car:However even though the electrical connections are are already wired in the boot,there is no cd drive or gps unit . Are these parts still available, and where from.I would be grateful for your advice.

may be it got stuck try to move it by ur finger cuz mine one opens half some times so move it by finger ..... try it it might work for u ....

try setting the time to something different (Like a day and hour from the current setting) than the current time and see if that come up if so then set the system to the current time and date and check again, if that solves your problem great if not reset your system and reprogram it.

Ok so you know the bat is good cause you checked the voltage. You double checked the bios jumper making sure it is not set to clear. Looking in your manual you can go to AMD XP3200+, & you are under that. So either you have a short or your bios needs flashed because it's messed up. Could have went when the cpu died.

I have to change my time/date everytime I change the batteries...sorry!
