Hello I'm Alexis and I am having a problem with the xbmc hub custom wizard edition. My son sat on the key board while I was watching a movie and the screen zoomed out. I've tried everything well what I think is everything but every other app works fine and is full screen such as YouTube app net flix, the web, photos etc., but the xbmc screen will not zoom back to my tv screen size. I've tried zooming in from the xbmc app settings and the picture is distorted and the screen is off and cannot see the top of the movie and it keeps saying something about the resolution being wrong or no name I've provided a picture of the screen. I didn't reset anything because the person that hooked it up isn't around to fix it at this time, so I didn't want to mess it up anymore then my son already did lol I'm usually good with things things but because I didn't see the setup of the system I'm pretty lost and the manual is very basic so it's doesn't help. Thank you for your time and have a nice day.
Hello Alexis, in the bottom left hand corner is a cog icon that will take you to the settings menu. From here select system and you should see display mode at the top. Change this option to full screen.
If this does not fix the problem select the option to use a windowed full screen option just below.
Hope this works for you.
Regards Geoff

I had the same problem and found that I was viewing the TV input instead of the composite input. Once I changed it back, the aspect setting would hold.
SOURCE: cannot fill screen with normal picture size setting
assuming you all have comcast and using an hdmi cable
first access menu (hit it twice) and go to set picture format, choose passthrough....or in your case auto hdmi
then turn box off, press guide and info on the front of the box, proceed through the setup, advanced is more in depth..lol...
select 1080, 720, and then either the standard or widescreen 480s to your liking.....
voila....
now check your tv settings to accommodate

The aspect ratio (zoom) button on the cable remote had been changed. On Brighthouse the # button toggles through the zoom settings. It's not a tv issue, it's a cable fix.
