Great printer I've had for years, no longer made, no new drivers. Use on Macintosh via ethernet. For the last 12 months, every time I try to print a job of more than five or six pages, it reports a "NIC fault" after three or four and freezes. I reboot and then I can print another three or four pages. I can also print four or five jobs of three or four pages each and I get the same message, requiring me to reboot, and then I can do more of the same. I added more memory, which the printer registers, just to ensure that wasn't the problem, but it didn't make a difference. Is there a better fix than turning this machine on and off and on and off?
Check if it happens with any other machine to narrow down the problem.Once you know if its the printer or the MAC it would be easier to fix.MAC usually does not give problems.
