Password is not responding

The default password for the HT2000W modem is admin

try rebooting in safe mode and do a restore if that doesn't work probably going to have to reinstall your OS,,, if it does let you in run scan disk under properties by right clicking on hard drive under my computer. if any of this works make sure your anti virus is up to date

This happened to me last night. I took my streamer to a friends house, but when i came back it was recognizing my SSID but not accepting my password. I don't know exactly what happened but i tried unhiding my SSID and redoing my password, but it still wouldn't work. ultimately I renamed my SSID, Password, and PSK. Then on my streamer I found my router through WPS. I just added the router PIN and it connected and brought everything up. Re- entered my password and was good to go.

Check your power cables properly and make sure it is attached. Check your power button, maybe you have pressed the wrong one.

Same thing happened to me! Went to bed last night, everything was fine. Woke up today, orange light came on, no display, slight flickering seen, but that's it. Cables and cords are fine, tried unplugging and plugging it back in, NOTHING. Totally dead. I'm guess off to buy a new one today. Typical made-in-China JUNK.

I guess I have to pay money for a solution, which is not what this website says. The only answer I got was pay money and we'll tell you. Is that true/

BIOS passwords in most laptops are stored in a special chip on the motherboard and the only way to bypass this password is to replace this laptop security chip. yeah you can call acer technician....
