Hi my lg TV keeps blinking on the odd occasion , is there a setting to stop this

This problem is caused by a couple of faulty electrolytic capacitors located on the power supply pcb. Think they are both 1000mfd 35v

You can't fix it. There is a bad board in this set; either the main board or the power supply board. You'll have to call a professional.

We have a bunch of 23" LG units that all failed with the flashing green light problem. I opened it up and traced it to a bad 3.4v output on the power supply which was caused by a puffed up capacitor on the board. If you are capable, you can do the repair and they have all worked fine since. BTW, they ran 24h a day for 2 years before this happened.
