My 98 Honda civic will not start. The horn,lights,and battery work. When i put my foot on the clucth nothing happens at all. No sound or spin noise. ignition switch?

howdie is it std or auto do you have lights horn do you hear a clicking noise if so probly your battery is low or bad altenator problem the brake light comes on it means the brakes are applied release them
try disconnecting the battery neg lead and the pos lead then join them together for 5 mins then reconnect the battery and see what happens ,it might just reset the fault for you .
