My 98 Honda civic will not start. The horn,lights,and battery work. When i put my foot on the clucth nothing happens at all. No sound or spin noise. ignition switch?

May be check the battery terminals to see if they are dirty or loose...
& check the water level in the battery to see if theres any there At all??

check for corroded wires under the main fuse box follow the positive wire it should lead you to the problem could also be a bad ignition switch

Car won't start, no sound at all when I try.

If you can get it to an auto parts store they can hook up a computer thing and tell you whats wrong. sounds alot like a bad starter.

try disconnecting the battery neg lead and the pos lead then join them together for 5 mins then reconnect the battery and see what happens ,it might just reset the fault for you .
