Coupler with backflow ball leading to steam components keeps popping off and spraying water.

I have had this same problem before and had a washer repairman come out for it. He showed me that the inlet into the drum had become clogged, backing up the water, and blowing the hose off. Hasn't happened in a few years. When it happened again, it was the first thing i checked. Cleaned it, put all hoses and clamps back, but keeps popping off every few washes. Any ideas on what it could be?

SOURCE: The washer leaves water remaining in drum after

Hello

Check the drain tube,it needs to be 30 inches above the floor.

Also if the drain tube from the washer is too far into the drain the washer will not drain completly. The drain tube should be 1 inch into the wall drain.

Also check for kinks or obstructions in the washer drain tube.

SOURCE: My Samsung WF218ANW/XAA front load washer will not

lefever352, I am currently trying to solve this same issue on the identical model. I removed , cleaned, and re-assembled all the water tubes and the entire pump assembly. The pump works but for some reason it is not priming into the drain tube. The pump assembly appears to have a diaphram over the outlet opening and it it looks like this might be the problem. I am still hunting the solution, BUT so far the above actions have to resolve our issue. I hope perhaps Fixya can help.

Trailer hitch pops off ball

Either the coupler is worn (replacement parts exists), or the ball is too small for the coupler you have. Both the ball and coupler need to be like-sized.

Watts backflow prevention device 009M2 relief valve spraying continuously

As a Backflow Tester, I have to recommend calling a certified Tester with experience in repairs. There are a few thing that could cause this such as debris stuck on the #1 Check disc (which usually means repair parts) or a nick on the Relief Valve seat. The rv seat is stainless steel and just pops in the bottom of the valve with an o-ring seal but unless you have experience at this I suggest you leave it to a professional as you could easily damage other parts or reassemble improperly.

Waterblaster has no pressure

It would help to identify the Brand of product. Check your wand stem. Most wands have a filter inside to keep the spray nozzle from clogging. Some Brands have filters just inside the coupler to the water source. Most of these screen filters just pop out for cleaning.

My tank isn't tall enough to fit the ball **** with a 1 inch difference above the overflow pipe. Is it possible that I have to cut the overflow pipe?

I wouldn't cut the overflow. This is a requirement for proper backflow prevention. Many toilets do not even have backflow preventors on the fill valve. If you try to cut the tube, if you cause other damage, you'll hate yourself.
If you can, set the top of the fill valve as high as you can, the ball float can be at a lower angle to keep the water level below the existing overflow tube.

I have a 1997 honda accord coupe ex. When it rains or when I wash my car steam comes from under the hood of the car then it stops what should I do?

As an off the top of my head answer, it would seem that water is getting into the radiator or onto the exhaust and condensing on the ignition system, causing it to ground out, Try spraying all the exhaust components that your can see that are likely ot be affected with a water repellent spray. Seal your plug leads at the plug and distributor head with a small smear of silicone sealant. Also check the inside of your distributor cap for moisture build up and spray that as well.

Dishwasher will not drain all the water out

If this is a GE or Hotpoint dishwasher the solution is fairly easy, but a pain. GE (Hotpoint is the same company) has been using a small plastic ball that prevents backflow of the water. A lot of times that ball migrates and doesn't allow the dishwasher to drain. To get to this, you need to remove the two 1/4 inch hex head screws in the food trap basket, the 1/4 inch hex head screw from the spray arm, and use a small screwdriver to pry a clip at the back of the spray arm up to remove the spray arm assembly. Siphon as much water from the dishwasher as possible because you'll be opening up the plumbing below. Turn off your electricity to the dishwasher and pull it out of the cavity. Directly behind the motor is a large manilla-colored "tank" with a large hoseclamp holding a white union with two smaller hoses coming off it. Loosen and remove the white union from the large tank and the ball should fall out. Replace the white union, tightening the hose clamp and drop the ball back into the tube on the left side of the food trap basket. Put it back together and test run.

New danby kegerator - tastes like rubber hose

There is a check valve inside the coupler of the danby kegs that cause this problem. The valve is mainly there to prevent beer from back-flowing when changing the keg. Next time you change your keg check for a little black plastic retainer and also a small white plastic ball inside the coupler. Remove those (or just smell it) and you should notice that this is the taste/smell your beer has. I removed mine after this discovery, and there isn't any issues with the taste/smell since. I've heard this is a common issue with the Danby D coupler systems. Also, you won't have any issues with beer backflow when you change the keg, provided the line going to the tap is empty (which usually is if keg is kicked).
