Check all the flat cables that goes from its T'Con to display panel for loose contact. Re-set it at both ends once and check. Contact any service technician. SOURCE: No picture on Philips LCD TV

One very common problem encountered on many Philips models, old and new, In some cases, the SSB board has to be replaced as the resistor on the PCB on the back of the CRT had to be fixed. In other cases the Y Sustain board had to be replaced. If the problem is not due to these two issues, then the capacitors will need to be replaced as they only have a fixed guaranteed life. Thus, it would be wise to take out an extended warranty on Philips due to this common repair issue which often occurs after the limited warranty has ended. Or you could just call your local repairman. There are lots of websites on how to fix it yourself on google. There could be many reasons. Hope this helps!

SOURCE: Philips LCD TV "47, model PFL 8404H/12, NO SIGNAL on all 4 HDMI

This is quite tricky as it was working until last night and suddenly stopped receiving signals. What can happen wrong?
Do you have any other Player or other HDMI cables to try out. Sometimes the cables would be damaged or PC may fail to detect the HDMI.

Try this out from Philips helpdesk where there is new SW and FAQs are available.

Let me know if you are not able to upgrade the FW (if you do not get the support on ugprading)

Hello

There is something confusing the system control of your TV and it should me resetted. To reset it, just switch OFF your TV with its front panel power control switch, and after that, unplug the TV from the wall socket. Wait for about 5 minutes or so, and the plug it and switch It ON. If this does not work for the first time, give some more time to reset, say about an hour or so, and try. OK.

Color loss when switching between HD and analog channels

Clearly your T.V. is the problem. Always know: whatever unit needs the most adjustment needs, that is the unit that's gonna give first. It's an internal issue, one that should be checked by a service center. There are no connection issues. If it had been then the issue would be continuous.

Green Screen

Hi, how is the cable box hooked up to the TV? Is it HDMI cable or componet (red/green/blue) ? When you say totally green, do you mean the the picture is only green with the other colors missing or every color looks green ?

I reset the comcast cablebox. I totally unplugged the cablebox for 20 seconds and then plugged it back in. Turned on both the cablebox and the tv and the HDTV channels operated correctly.
