Here is a strange one: Our phones post numbers to the list of dialed numbers which were never dialed. Could some outside source get in through the 5.8 GHz system?

We push the redial button and a valid phone number appears which was never dialed from any phone in the house.

The phone also register numbers of people that have called you. Could that be what you're seeing?

Testimonial: "That is only when you push the "CID" button. This is when you push "REDIAL" which shows the last number dialed, but the numbers shown were never dialed on that phone or any of the other handsets in the system."

I removed the battery from the phone for about 15 seconds then reconnected it. I can now access the menu.

Speed dial

1. lift the handset and listen for the dial tone. 2. press the store button 3. dial the number that you wish to store 4. press the store button a second time 5. press one of the numbers on the phone [0-9] and that will become the speed dial number. 6. make a record of the speed dial number and the name of the person it will call.
Then when you want the person on speed dial number 5, just pick up the receiver, get a dial tone and push 5. Thats it!

Meridian norstar want to delete and enter new numbers

If you are asking about Outside Auto Dial numbers (a "speed dial" number programmed to a button), follow these steps:
1. Leave the handset down
2. Dial "Feature (star) 1"
3. Press the button to be programmed
4. Enter the "speed dial" number
5. Press button under "OK" on the horizontal display.

The group of 12 buttons on top of an M7310 phone are Dual-Memory buttons, each can hold 2 speed dial numbers. When you press the button, you are using the Lower Memory location. When you press the Shift button (triangle-shaped button on the right) and the a Dual-Memory button, you are using the Upper Memory location. Good Luck!

Some phone calls cant go throw

I assume that this is a home phone issue. If so, it is possible that it is setup to dial an outside number before dialing the number that you input (like at work we dial a 7 before dialing our customers number). This will make your calls have an extra number at the beginning if it connects directly to an outside line.

Enter memory data

Hello,
Here are the commands to run the phones memory dial (speed-dial).  I have included the instructions for deleting and changing numbers as well.  It is listed below.  I hope this helps you out.
Ken

MEMORY DIAL INSTRUCTIONS Store up to ten 20-digit numbers in memory for quick dialing. Storing a Number in Memory 1. Make sure the phone is OFF (not in TALK mode). 2. Press the MEMORY button. 3. Press a number (0-9) to store the dialed number in that memory location. 4. Press the MEMORY button again. 5. Use the handset number keypad to enter the telephone number (up to 20 digits, including pauses) and press the MEMORY button again to save the number. The unit beeps to confirm. 6. To enter another number in a different memory location, return to step 1 and repeat the process.
Storing a Redial Number 1. Repeat steps 1 through 4 in Storing a Number in Memory. 2. Press the REDIAL button. 3. Press the MEMORY button to store the number. You will hear a confirmation tone.
Changing a Stored Number 1. Repeat steps 1 through 6 in Storing a Number in Memory. 2. Press the MEMORY button to store the number. You will hear a confirmation tone. The old number will be overwritten with the new number.
Dialing a Stored Number 1. Make sure the phone is ON by pressing the TALK button. 2. Press the MEMORY button. 3. Press the number (0-9) for the desired memory location. The number dials automatically. Inserting a Pause in the Dialing Sequence Press the PAUSE# button once to insert a delay in the dialing sequence of a stored telephone number. A pause is needed to wait for a dial tone (for example after you dial 9 for an outside line, or to wait for a computer access tone). Each pause counts as 1 digit in the dialing sequence. If you need a longer pause, press the PAUSE# button twice.
Deleting Stored Numbers 1. Press the MEMORY button. 2. Press the desired memory location (0-9). 3. Press the MEMORY button twice to delete the entry. 4. You will hear a confirmation tone.

Speed Dialing KX-T7453

Part of the number you store in your speed dial has to include a "9" or 8x access code to get an outside line.
