The power supply has a few daughter boards that can fail on the main power supply.
Make sure all the plugs etc removed are back in the correct place and also you may want to put the old board back to see what if anything changes---ie if you get the light back but set still does not work you may have got a new bad board--that can happen.
How are you wiring the Pioneer DEH 1400 to the Renault?
The Pioneer uses standard radio wiring, you must not have power and ground connected properly if you have nothing happening.
Hello
Your TVs power supply regulator section has got some trouble with it, that is why power indicator doesn't light up. You have purchased it only fourteen days back, surely there will be warranty for it. Do not open the TV. The company will give no concession if the set is opened. Send it to the authorised service center and get it repaired. Some power supply faults may fatal, and may have to spend more. Since your TV is a new model, spare part availability in the open market may be difficult. Send it to them and let them do the work. OK.
Also, are you sure that the replacement power supply was compatible with the old one
was working on the problem. There was nothing wrong with power supply or motherboard. I disconnected everything and left only power supply connected to motherboard. When I turned on the power switch located on power supply nothing happened. Then I short the power sw pins located on the motherboard with the help of a screwdriver. The motherboard came to life. The I connected all connections again. I don't know whether it was a static charge developed on the board or reverse polarity ... May be you can explain it better as I am a newbie in hardware world. In nutshell problem is resolved.
Try connecting a different power supply to it. If the same situation repeats, then it's an internal (motherboard) problem. If the problems go away, then the power supply needs to be replaced.
6 years... I'm surprised the PSU even lasted that long! The power supply is the cheapest part of the PC and usually one of the first parts to fail. Don't worry, a replacement power supply is not too expensive. Good luck!
