Here's something that might also be useful. After you turnon the set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device andMenu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.
For example, 3 flashes, then 7 flashes = 37.
Here are the error codes, and the corresponding problem:
12 = No error detected, check power supply.
32 = Lamp Cover is open.
33 = Air filtercover is open.
34 = Lamp abnormality
36 = Light Engine (DMD or Lamp Fan stopped)
37 = Exhaust or Lamp Ballast Fan stopped
38 = Lamp Temperature High
39 = DMD Temperature High
41 = Short is detected
44 = DVI cablebetween FMT and Engine disconnected

the code 803is for faulty exposure lamp or fault in composite power supply(the power supply to exposure lamp is not sufficiant to operate the lamp).to remove exposure lamp, remove copyboard glass,remove back cover ,slide scanner in the line of rear exahaust fan at the right side of scanner, remove rear exahaust fan, remove lamp holder(one screw).slide out lamp on the rear side replace new one and reverse the whole process.

The service manual does not list an error code for "21".

   According to the symptom self diagnostic system recomandation is :

   Lamp cover            error 3 times
- Lamp cover is not fastened securely.

Therefore please check the area of fault mension above, this will solve your problem.

hello, if your still getting the lamp error then your lamp cover is'nt on right i'ld suggest taking cover off then re-installing it if the t.v. is'nt reading the lamp cover then it'll give you this error after re-placing the lamp, also take the lamp out and re-connect make sure the 2 prongs are on the lamp tight.

E220 is a scanner error. means:
the exposure lamp is burnt.
try copying with the top cover open, if the lamp does npt work, exchange it.

The error code E0019 is the waste toner bottle is full you need to empity out the waste toner bottle and make sure the neck of the bottle is totaly clean and clear, a sensor reads dirt on the neck that the bottle is full. To clear that code after cleaning the waste toner, turn the main power switch off on the right side of the copier. The waste toner bottle is on the left hand side toward the rear of the copier and is held in with one screw. The E00225 deals with the scanning lamp. you will have to replace the lamp and the lamp PCB as a set to solve that problem. Good Luck...

Actually both the filter cover and lamp covers have a long straight plastic part which is inserted in small hole. At the end of the holes are micro switches. When you fit the filter cover this switch is pressed and projector knows that it is ok to turn on. Similarly if lamp cover is loose the micro switch is not fully pressed resulting in this message. Tightening it presses the micro swith and the indication vanishes. In your case if plastic parts are intact, lamp cover screw is fully tight, filter is clean and properly seated with a click sound, then may be some micro switch has malfunctioned and you have no option but to take the projector to some qualified repariman.
