I think you can "pop" the top off using a screwdriver.....
It might be the heating coil. Look for breaks in the coil or can use a volt/ohm meter to check it...

If you have wifi try the Hive Thermostat. Control your heating off your iPhone or with a touch of the button on the remote controller.
Otherwise there are many hard wired systems available.
First check that you have the correct voltage at the wall outlet. 240V. Then you have to access behind the front panel and OHM check the heating element and the thermostats. One of these is your culprit.
Hi l had exactly the same problem with my combitronic, tried virtually everything, asked & took my motorhome to several places found one that could find the fault. Apparently there was a break down of a wire under the sheathing stopping the heating working on 240v. Agency supplied if required.
if you had heat in the dryer before you changed anything in the electrical box then i doubt very much it has anything to do with the dryer.if you have a meter you can check at the block where the cord connects to the dryer and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the dryer before you start messing with the dryer
Check for 240V at the outlet. If you have 240V, check the continuity of the thermostats on the element housing, and the element itself. If those are ok you could have an issue with the timer. Good luck!
hi thanks for your question make sure you have 240 volts at dryyer dicconnect dryer from power source check for ohms at the element take one wire off and check at element there could be another thermostat that sometimes is missed because its on the heater housing at the top of housing check that the appliance doc
if you have 240v going through the element then you have a broken neutral somewhere.Check the wires in the door, the thermostats,or the timer/pcb.the elemwnt wont be faulty.
