My Tom Tom 910 freezes up everytime I attempt to turn it on. I tried reset to no avail. This happened after I connected to PC for updates. Now PC does not recognize

why change the BIOS? ROM best is not to unless you know
the BIOS update fixes a known issue you have, no issues stated.

connect to tomtom home. check if any updates available. install if any available. start the unit, when turned on completely press and hold the reset button for atleast 8 secs and then go outside under the open skies and see what happens.

Well i am writing this wile I am trying this out...
I have a TomTom Go 910 that has a RED CROSS FLASHING on the bottom corner, what I have found is that if you have backed up your TomTom Go i maybe able to reset the TomTom Go on my computer but if you havent you may have to find on try finding one on google but i have a TomTom Go 910 you can download the 910 on http://rapiddigger.com/download/backup-go-910-rar-9110176/.

after you found the back-up you can connect your TomTom Go to your computer using the USB provided from your TomTom Go, replace the doggie file with the new one, then this should change it back to the FIRST update given...

Hi Gualbeer. Why don't you try screen touching the change preferences then the Reset factory settings that works like reformatting ones computer. rrp3dgt

Charge the tomtom over night,
Reset
And before you switch on connective to the PC and run the updates via you Supplied CD Software.

Complain to Tom Tom ,you may have a lemon,look for law suit soon

do you have a sd card in the unit? take it out and push the reset button

press the on button then hold the on button the press the reset button, the screen sould flash white, once this is done connect the tomtom to the pc and turn it on then update it via tomtom home

Try pressing the reset button, check your documentation for the location...but it's at the connection interface.
