Fault with its main board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ . In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

Fully charged battery discharged after trip. Alternator output 14.4 volts, AC out 13.8 volts, Recharged from AC for trip home, dead again at home.

Did you check voltage at battery while running? Or at alternator. Watch voltage at battery at idle, see if there is a drop over a period of time. Should be 13.5-14 volts. It may be as easy as replacing the battery, not just recharging it. Also check terminals to make sure voltage is making it back to the battery.

Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. What would cause the battery gauge on a 93 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo to bounce between 14v and 9v. this is also running the battery dead and not charging the battery back up.

Several things need to be checked before an accurate diagnosis can be made, however in general it is most likely your alternator going out OR a bad connection in your alternator/charging circuit wiring.

It's also important to test/verify that you have a good fully charged battery (with no dead cells) before any tests of the charging system. An alternator needs ample battery power into it before it can produce good charging voltage and amps out of it and back into the battery.

If you test the voltage directly out of the alternator's output post/connector (with the output wire disconnected), you will be reading direct alternator voltage output, which should be approx 13.5 to 14 volts, steady. If the voltage is at ~14 volts, then suddenly cycles down to 9 volts (or anything less than 12 volts), then you have a defective alternator.
If the alternator, while isolated, tests out at a constant 13.5 to 14 volts, then the problem is most likely a bad wire or connection in the charging circuit wiring.

There is also the possibility of the battery (how old is it?) shorting out internally, causing the voltage fluctuation. That's why I previously said you need to verify each battery cell is fully charged and good. You can usually test this with a battery hydrometer (if it's not a "sealed" maintenance free battery).

GE 19GT317 does not power on.i press the power button i hear 2 clicks.but it does not come on. what could be the problem?

There is the possibility that; (1) the horizontal output Transistor has shorted out. (2) the horizontal driver transistor and last but not least (3) the H output transformer.

If you have a Isolation variable power supply meter, connect the tv set to the meter. Slowly raise the voltage to 70 to 90 volts ac, but, keep an eye on the amp meter. If the amp meter rises sharply to mid poit while adjusting the meter to 70 volts..stop...you have a "dead short". The set needs trouble shooting and the short(s) eliminated to solve your problem.

If you manage to raise the voltage to 70, turn the set on and raise the voltage to 90 vac. The set should come on, but, the pic will not be that great. This will tell you that you either have a problem with the H driver, a cap, or the H transformer.

Battery light is on

this light points to the alternator not providing enough voltage to keep the battery charged. most alternators should have 13.5 to 14.5 volts output. continuing to drive the vehicle like this will cause the battery to go dead. have your alternator tested on the caravan by your local dealer, repair shop or some auto parts stores can do it. a remanufactured alternator will cost around $100 to $200 plus diagnosis and installation.

Battery goes dead. disconnect the battery and jump the car and it is ok for about a month

Get a battery check first and have it charged. Then, switch off all lights, radio, ignition switch. Reconnect the charged battery negative ground first, then, the positive terminal. Find if there's a spark. if it does, then, you must check your electrical wiring since this is grounded. Do not connect the positive terminal. Clear the grounded connection first. If no spark, go ahead. Crank your engine, and let it run at neutral position. And check the voltage that goes out of the alternator, this must be more than 15 volts DC. Then check the voltage output of the regulator which must be 13
to 14 volts DC. However, if you cannot get the right voltage at the
alternator., you have to replace it. Then, you can check the regu-
lator output voltage, and get the right voltage. Get this done,. and
send your e-mail for the result.

Sanyo CLT2054 - power cord has light but when I plug it into the

OK you need a volt meter to check the voltage output of your power pack as two things cause this now enough power out the pack to run your unit or the unit has a short both problems will unlight the light so you need to know if the power supply is working right first as it should say like 120 volts AC in and 12 volts DC 1000 ma out so you will need to mesure this with a volt meter. this is a common problem loading the load of the curcuit as in your TV is mor the the power pack is giving out thus shorting out the power pack of any voltage present, as the little LED light your seeing only takes 5 volts at very ittle current to light and dose not repersent the total voltage output of the power pack itself

Turns on light comes on but no sound and no picture

verify your b+ voltage on collector of horizontal output transistor 7405 and if 130 volts is missing or way off go to power supply circuit and verify voltage on pin 14 of ic 7511 and if there is not approx 150 volts present should replace that ic and startup capacitor 2511 and opto isolator 7513. if 130 volts is present on collector of 7405 then scope signal on 7404 and if not clean signal replace micro processor
