How can i get tablet to open for use...?
When you press and hold in the power button it should boot up. If it doesn't the battery might be dead so charge it up and try again. If it doesn't boot up after charging we need more information.
Are you getting any kind of a screen or just nothing?

Is it scrolling the word android? It takes about 24 scans to boot up. If it's just hanging there it won't boot up. So find the 'reset' hole. It s a tiny hole in which you inert a paper clip. this will reset the tablet. then try again. If this doesn't work then there are other options to try. What is happening isthatvthe operating system is not functioning. It's a common problem with these units. I had to take one back.

Is it scanning the word Android. It takes about 25 scans before it boots up.
It should be scanning the word Android. You can see it scanning as it lights up the word. This takes time. About 25 scans and you should get a start up screen. If it doesn't boot up try resetting it by inserting a paper clip in the reset hole and pressing on it. That shuts it down. So try again by holding the power button and the volume up button till the pros can logo appears again. It will go into format mode when it boots up. Use the volume buttons to select wipe. And then boot up again. You will lose any saved data and have to start from scratch.
