First off, you need the model number of the TOWER that you are trying to replace the FRONTSIDE USB ports. Go to E-bay or Amazon and see what they\'ve got for THAT particular model.

ports should face the inlet side this allows fuel air oil in.

The model number is located either on the bottom of the right corner of the screen and on the label on the bottom of the laptop and the location and number of USB ports vary with different models.

The USB port is a connector/port that is 12x5 mm in size, some model thinkpad have onlt one USB port and some have 2 USB ports.
The USB ports are usually located at the back or at the sides of the laptop.

The T30 model has 2 USB ports at the back of the laptop located between the LAN and PS2 connectors.
The T40 model has 2 USB ports located at the left side of the laptop.
The A31p model has 2 USB ports located at the back left hand corner of the laptop.
The R32 model has 2 USB ports, one is located at the back left hand corner and the other is located on the left hand side of the laptop.

The amount of refrigerant needed is a calculation; just adding is NOT the correct method. At a given ambient temperature, you need to achieve a pressure. Measurements are to be made at both low and high pressure sides of the system. From these readings, a calculation can be made about refrigerant quantity.

If you are opening the system, you were planning to also replace the receiver/dryer, correct? It also needs the oil in it measured and incorporated into the amount of oil (in %) that would need to be added. FAILURE to address these and other issues will guarantee premature system failure and likely compressor damage.

Bostich recommends adding a few drops daily. Avoid over oiling, as this may cause oil pooling in ports, and cause feeding problems. This will be more pronounced in cold weather.

in the low pressure charging port. its more complicated than that. why do you think it needs oil. oil is only added after a component is replaced, and the amount of oil is known. you dont want too much oil.

Both the refrigerant and oil should be added to the low side of the system. This would be the larger of the connecting ports.
Connecting a supercenter freon can to the hi side is very dangerous.
