Error code 3809 refers to the printhead. You may try reinstalling it to make sure that is not the problem. Take it out, reinstall it, disconnect power cord from back of printer and wait for 2 mins. Then, re-connect power cord and wait until the memory card and photo tray lights go off. Turn printer on. If not solved, contact support

SOURCE: calibration not working

When you place the calibration sheet on the scanner glass, make sure you put it with the blue arrow facing the yellow triangle on the scanner. (the page must be, obviously, facing down).

As with the red color issue goes, try replacing the color ink cartridge. If that does not work, contact kodak support to fix the problem (you can go to kodak.com/go/itg for troubleshooting steps)

My printer cannot detect the gap between the labels.one bar code is printed on 2 labels.

Hello,

did you try to calibrate the printer yet? Procedure is the following:

- switch off printer
- switch on again WHILE pushing green button
- release button after first flashing of led
- printer starts calibration process
- after printer finished calibration press green button again once to feed another label and leave dump mode (important!)
- printer prints "out of dump"

Now try to print from your software again. I hope it helps!

Bad color in photos-Starts out good then goes to very bad

have you attempted printing directly on the printer via. pictbridge orthe inbuild card reader? this does sound like a problem with the printhead, or connection to it... try taking the print head out andreplacing it, it would need to be re-calibrated again when you do this, but if there is a connection issue this would most likely solve it. its possible also that the feed through for one colour of ink isslightly clogged or not drawing ink correctly (sounds like yellow)-this would mean that its not able to restock its yellow pallet quicklyenough while printing. you could attempt to clean it out yourself, orif its under warranty, see if they will replace your print head for you

TLP 2844-Z is faded on the right half when it prints

It probably needs a print head adjustment or calibration.

If your zebra label printer is not feeding to the next label correctly it may need to be calibrated. Follow these steps to calibrate the printer:
  1. Turn off printer and have media loaded (on older Transports, with no ON/OFF switch, remove battery).
  2. Hold feed button down, and turn printer back on (on older Transports, re-insert battery) while holding down the feed button.
  3. When the light starts flashing, release the feed button.
  4. Printer light will turn green and advance a few blanks.
  5. After printer stops advancing and prints the internal information, press the feed button one time.
  6. You will get another label with the “Out of Dump” message on it.
  7. Printer is now ready for use.

White vertical line on the print

Have you tried calibrating the print head? Turn off the printer and the controller. Turn the printer on. Once the process light turns off, hold down the exec button and press the left arrow. "Please wait" is shown on the screen, and after a while it starts making noises and the screen changes to "calibrating". This is supposed to solve that problem. It didn't for me, but it's a start.
