To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done

SOURCE: connect tv to cable box with hdmi lead

You will need an HDMI to DVI cable which are available in the shops, even ASDA has one but I don't know how good it is. Or you can buy an adapter that will plug into one of the ends of the HDMI cable and then plug into the DVI socket at the back of the TV. The DVI input is video only so you will need audio leads for sound. These will connect from the output of your source, say, blue ray or sky HD (Left and right audio sockets ) to the audio L/R at the back left of the TV (on the block next to the three component video connections and s-video connections)

SOURCE: "No signal" sign on TV screen using HDMI selector

it sounds like a refresh issue, double check you selector and make sure it fits the refresh of the tv. i had this once with a sharp where the tv was 120hz and the selector was 60 and it created a no signal and when it did come in it was jumpy. if you have a 120 tv then selector should be the same.

SOURCE: Sony Bravia does not recognize my Dell Inspiron 1525

I have the 1525 and you have to do extra steps each time you want the HDMI to be recognized by the Bravia - too bad it is not automatic as it is with some. Anyway what you have to do is have the HDMI cable connected from laptop to TV then go to your desktop - right click on an open area (away from icons), a menu will appear, let the cursor hover over Graphics Options - you'll then see Output To...then you'll see Intel Dual Display Clone...hover over that and you'll then see Notebook + Digital Television...left click on that and you should see your desktop on the TV in a few seconds. If it does not work the first time...get your movie or whatever you want to show up and ready and go thru these steps again...stupidly complicated aye? when it should automatically detect and show...are other TVs like this?

No input message on APRO tv?

If your APRO 19" LCD TV is displaying a "No input" message, it usually means that the TV is not receiving any signal from the connected source. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the input source: Ensure that the correct input source is selected on your TV. Use the TV remote or the buttons on the TV itself to cycle through the available input options (e.g., HDMI, VGA, AV, etc.). Make sure you select the input corresponding to the device you have connected (e.g., a cable box, DVD player, game console, etc.).
  2. Verify the connection: Ensure that the cables connecting the TV to the input source are securely plugged in on both ends. If you are using HDMI, VGA, or AV cables, check that they are properly connected to both the TV and the source device. Also, make sure that the source device is powered on and transmitting a signal.
  3. Try a different input/source: If you have multiple input sources available, try connecting a different device to the TV to see if it receives a signal. This will help determine if the issue is specific to a particular input or if it persists across different sources.
  4. Test the source device: If possible, connect the source device to a different TV or display to confirm if it is outputting a signal properly. This will help isolate whether the issue lies with the TV or the source device.
  5. Restart the TV and source device: Power off both the TV and the source device, unplug them from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Then, plug them back in and power them on again. This can help reset any temporary issues that may be affecting the signal.
  6. Factory reset the TV: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, you may consider performing a factory reset on your TV. Please note that a factory reset will erase any customized settings on the TV, so make sure to check the user manual or contact APRO customer support for instructions specific to your model.
If the problem persists after trying these troubleshooting steps, it may be best to contact APRO customer support or consult a qualified technician for further assistance. They will have more specific knowledge about your TV model and can provide further guidance or arrange for a repair if needed.

I have a LG 55LS4500-UD tv and it has a 3-4 in line going up and down on the screen close to the middle of the tv (led right side near middle).

If lines do appear on all channels but not on other inputs/apps: You could have an issue with your input devices then antenna or satellite receiver, or the cable box a problem with your cable used for that device or an issue with the input board on the TV. Before having repair service, try to factory reset the TV first.
Lines can be from a processing issue or a connection problem. Generally these are due to poor connections between the processing board and the panel.

Just bought a 55" Lg Led tv and i hook up hdmi from cable box to tv hdmi 1 and hdmi from my blue ray player to the tv hdmi 2, ok then i turn the input on both now hdmi 2 work but hdmi 1 has no signal why...

try connecting your blue ray player to HDMI 1.
A) If it works there, then you know the port on the TV is OK & the problem is with either your HDMI cable or your cable box.
B)If it still doesn't work then you may have a problem with the port on your MAIN PCB. if it's a new TV your warranty will cover that as long as the input connector is not physically broken.

have you tried connecting ur laptop via hdmi to tv? if it works you should probably check tv settings for hdmi, if not then it is possible that the hdmi controller from tv to have some problems, i had a similar problem with a philips tv and took it to service ending up in a total replacement of motherboard and led display

Led 3d lg tv is showing no signal on all hdmi ports

Try connecting different devices to the port, that you are sure were working before. Look for any change of settings and if necessary resort to factory default settings. Look for any loose connections in the input cables or devices or jacks.

My lg tv (had since Nov) says no signal for the tv or dvd player. How do I fix this?

Try unplugging all inputs and the power cord from the TV for 5 minutes. This will allow the main board to reset.
Next, just plug in the power plug to the TV, power up the TV, and even though there is not a source connected to the TV, check at least three inputs and see what the TV will report on the screen for each input.
Next, turn off the TV, plug in all known working devices (Cable/Antenna, DVD, Blu-Ray, Cable/Satellite box, Game, ….) with a known working cables to the TV, make sure all the devices connected to the TV are powered up and on, and now power on the TV.
Now check to see if the TV is seeing valid signal for all the inputs connected to the TV.
If your TV cannot see any signal at any of its inputs (HDMI1, HMDI2, HDMI3, AVI1, AVI2, Component1, ……), then the main board has failed and need to be replaced.
Good Luck.
