M2 Call service.Maintenance M2, M1 Call service errors.To remove this error do the following steps.
1-Press utility button on panel.
2-Now press these buttons one by one, Press Stop, then zero, again zero, then stop,then press zero.
3-its the code to get into service mode.
4-After pressing above mentioned buttons you will enter into service mode.
5-Now select service choice option.select it by pressing OK button.
6-In service choice option you will see Maintenance count option.
7-Select it by pressing Yes or OK button.
8-There will be three options 0,1,2.
9-Select 1, it will show a new menu, with numbers, now press C button to clear the counter.After the counter is cleared.Select 0 and press Reset button.

replace the drum and developer and clear the counter also ensure you run the F8 after developer been replaced and new drum are installed

Enter in the service mode and select Counter mode and clear the mnaitenace counter and PM counter.

Press the Utility button,
then Stop 0 0
then press again Stop 0 1
then scroll to Clear Data, and then Supplies Data and clear.
You must be aware that clearing this counter clears the drum, developer and other counters.

clear the counters first then replace the drum and developer then run F8

b)Touch Meter Count.
c)Press the following keys in this order : Stop - 0 - 0 -Stop - 0 - 1.
d)Select Tech.Rep.Mode.
2.Resetting the maintenance code:
M2 Waste toner box
Resetting procedure:
a)Enter the Tech.Rep.mode.
b)Select "Counter".
c)Select "Consumables".
d)Select the count of waste toner.
e)Press the clear key.
