There is no model called 'SAT-R'; please be more specific about the exact make and model monitor you're talking about. Also, normally, you don't set time on/for a monitor ... might the question be in the wrong category ?

CORRECT INPUT or SOURCE
If it is just one TV that is showing the NO SIGNAL…
-Be sure your TV is on the correct source or input as your CABLE or SAT BOX.
-Press the TV button on TV remote control to turn your TV ON.
-Press the INPUT button on your TV remote control.
-Cycle through all the inputs on your TV.
-Do this until you are on the INPUT your CABLE or SAT BOX is plugged into.
-You should then see the CABLE or SAT programming show on your TV.
HINT: Your TV will most likely list the TV INPUTS as: HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3, VGA, Component 1, Component 2, and so on.
If you still see NO SIGNAL on your TV screen, see the next step below…

2 – If you have your TV on the correct INPUT or SOURCE and you still see NO SIGNAL…
CABLE OR SAT BOX NEEDS RESET
-Remove or unplug the power cable from the Cable TV or SAT set top box.
-Keep it unplugged for 2 to 3 minutes.
-Plug the power cable back into your Cable or SAT set top box.
-Give it some time for the Cable or SAT box to power up, get the signal, and initialize.
If you still see NO SIGNAL on your TV screen, see the next step below…

3 – If you have reset the Cable or SAT box and still have the NO SIGNAL…
UNPLUG THE CABLE GOING FROM THE TV TO YOUR CABLE OR SAT BOX
-Remove the HDMI cable or other cables from your Cable TV or SAT set top box.
-Keep the cable unplugged for 2 to 3 minutes.
-Plug the HDMI cable or other cables back in.
-Give it some time for the Cable or SAT box to get the signal and initialize.
HINT: Make sure all the cables that are connected to your Cable or SAT box and your TV are tight, undamaged, and secured.

4 – If all of your TVs are affected with the NO SIGNAL screen…
BE SURE THE COAX CABLES OR ETHERNET CABLES ARE SECURE or CABLE OR SAT IS DOWN TEMPORARILY
-Be sure to check the ones where the CABLE or SAT come into your home.

Problem with new remote control! Remote model basic Xl,bxl-rc001! Wont work with SAT skymaster dx24! Help please :-( it works fine with quadro tv, but not SAT :-/

If it is a universal remote control, you have to set it up with set-up codes to SAT box. If you wish to get more; check the site linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. See it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" view. It will make surf easier.

My grandchildren have a Lionel Little Lines train set. The problem is that it sat for a long time unexamined. It turns out now the remote control is missing. Without that, everything else is useless. ...

First contact Lionel. If they can't help then try any local hobby store dealing in model trains. Search the Internet. There are also bidding and sales sites like eBay, Amazon, and Craigslist.

How can i connect an ipod to my sony mhc-rv777d. with no aux port. Can i use the video/sat port??

Hello - Yes you would plug an Ipod to stereo RCA cable into the appropriate L/R inputs for video/sat. This comes from the device user's manual.

According to the user manual it is preferable to use the SAT setting as the Video setting can output some noise at times. You would then of course use the SAT button to hear playback.

Enjoy the music

Are the 7 different programs for 7 different days or are they exclusive?

There are 7 ON events and 7 OFF events
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Woods-59028-59018.pdf

When programming the timer, you select individual days or blocks of days.
For example program1 ON time
Set the Hour
Set the minutes
Press the day key to scroll through the possible choices.
Then you set program1 OFF time
Set the hour
Set the minute
And then press the day key to scroll through the possible choices.

The choices are:
Each individual day
Monday thru Friday
Sat-Sun
Monday thru Sat
Monday thru Sun
Monday-WED-FRI
Tues-Thurs-Sat
Mon-Wed
Thurs-Sat

The key is to set the ON and OFF times for the same days or blocks of days
For example program1 ON is 8:00 am Mon thru Friday
Set program1 OFF for 3:00 pm Mon thru Friday

and then program2 ON is 8:30am Sat-Sun
program2 OFF is 5:00pm Sat-Sun

Program 3 ON is 6:00pm Tues-Thurs-Sat
Program3 OFF is 9:00pm Tues-Thurs-Sat

Program4 ON is 6:00pm Sat
Program4 OFF is 11:00pm Sat

Programs5, 6 and 7 might not be needed

The key is to make a chart of times before setting timer.
The chart will prevent conflicts in programming where the timer does not operate as expected.

Alpine sat nav would not load...

This is not uncommon, before resorting to Alpine, try a DVD cleaning disk. It may be necessary to try it up to 6 or 7 times, but it's a lot cheaper than dealer service!!

Durabrand dvd/video combi

There could be at least two ways to hook in your VCR. The common way is to hook your VCR inline (between) the sat box output (RF or antenna) and the TV RF/antenna input. This will allow you to play the VCR/DVD & record whatever channel the sat box is set to. I'm not real familiar with the newer sat boxes, but I assume they output one channel at a time, thus, you can only record that channel. On the older cable or outdoor antenna systems, you could record one channel while watching another. Perhaps some sat boxes have this capability. You might do a Google search with the box Model number to see if an online manual can be found. The other hookup possibility is if your TV set has audio/video inputs & outputs. Hook these to the matching input/output of the VCR/DVD.
