When you are in ready state, type 10871087 to enter the maintenance mode. Then type 251 to go in the section where clean the MK counter. (U251 Checking/clearing the maintenance count). Press Start to reset (if I remember correctly , you will need to type a new counter (000000), not just to clear the old one). After reset, you press Stop key to exit the submenu. Type 001 and press Start to exit the Maintenance mode.
on the menu buttons on the machine..change the paper exit to go out the back.. if this solves the problem.. you might be looking into replacing exit rollers or fuser
