Hand vac doesn't hold power

I received as a gift this last Christmas. The device does not hold power anymore. I thought it would last longer than 11 months. I use it about once a week. What will dirt devil do about this?

Mostly likely it needs a new power pack, but you could try cleaning off the contacts first. Use a pencil eraser and clean the metal power contact on the charging unit and the vacuum. Then charge it over night. If that doesn't help, charge the power pack.

Obtaining a battery will be difficult; I had a similar problem with my Kone model. Check that the plug you have has a fresh new fuse though as it may be the connection lead.
Sadly because the batteries are built into the machine its difficult to find a replacement - ALL cordless hand dust busters suffer from difficult to find batteries because at cost they are reasonably cheap and not really designed to have batteries that can be found easily.
Well not until someone brings out a model that has batteries that are available...

Shop vac doesn't work. Does my shop vac have a thermo fuse?

Contact the manufacturer of device. They may help you. If not, make sure that current is reaching the on/off switch and that the power is reaching the motor - if power gets to motor and still nada then the issue is probably with the brushes not making proper contact with the commutator.

Shop vac whistles

If you let it continue, you will have a piece of junk. You take the bolts off holding the motor cover on and you lubricate the upper bushing with oil. They are oil impregnated bushings and will soak up a thin type oil best and last longer. Use 10W or 3-in-1 oil or Marvel Mystery oil.

I received a Keurig as a gift for Christmas and noticed in the last month when entering for the larger cup of coffee the mug fills up about 1 inch, why is this? I love the machine and the coffee it makes,...

I hope it is still under warranty.
This malfunction could have several causes far beyond what can be said here.

My first step would be to contact the "gifter" and invite him/her for tea.
Then of course, explain the situation tactfully so as to not to hurt his/her feelings by appearing to be overwhelmingly demanding.

e.g.
"You and I know this is a high quality product that can only be a gift from a high quality giver. Therefore we are both victims of the proverbial statistical rate of 1 out of 10,000 unit failure.
Would you kindly tell me where you so thughtfully and caringly purchased it for me, so I can take it there for warranty repair, or replacement? Please?"

I'm confident your friend will be more than happy to help.
