Hello. May be the ice maker is overloading water. Is simple to regulate. You must take away the front cover from the ice maker, then will see a regulator screw, move it about 1/2 turn to minus posicion and check if water still leaking from the ice machine. Or maybe the water valve is damaged and never stops the water inlet

SOURCE: Water dispenser

the slide switch ice - water may not be making up. the paddle inside the door operates a common microswitch to either dispense ice or operates the water solenoid. check out the selector switch.

SOURCE: ice maker wont make ice

It is quite possible that the water line which feeds the ice maker is frozen. Whirlpool manufactures a "REPLACEMENT" water line that solves this problem. Fortunatly our problem occured while the refrigerator was still under warranty. I would suggest that anyone owning a Whirlpool product purchase the longest extended warranty available! They USED to manufacture a quality product. But I guess they just don't care about the consumer any longer. It is all about money!!

SOURCE: ICE MAKER QUIT MAKING ICE ON MY WHIRLPOOL FRIDGE

I had a Whirlpool Model GD5SHAXNS in which the icemaker quit working about the same time (3 years old). I had water out the dispenser, I found that it was the icemaker itself failed not calling for water to fill it. I replaced it with a icemaker on-line for about $100 and problem fixed. I have been told his is a common problem with the icemaker in this model ref.

GE GSH25JFRF BB ice maker doesn't dispense. Water dispenses and ice maker makes ice but won't come out.

There should be a plastice hinge cover on the left top hinge on freezer door. Take it off and press the plug together firmly. Try that and let me know, Sea Breeze

Water dispenser is not working

Does it make ice? If it makes Ice, then you have water to unit. If No Ice and No Water, check water supply. Otherwise, you could have a bad water valve. Remove valve and the line coming off of valve to water reservoir try to dispense water and if valve is good you should have water coming from valve. (have a bucket or bowl handy to catch water).

Outside ice despenser is dripping, no ice

water dispenser -Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip. Try the dispenser to see if it's just drips after use.

ice maker - If it overfills and drips, look for an adjustment behind the plastic endcover with a +/- on it. - is less water.

If it continuously drips, replace the water inlet valve on the back where the house water supply comes in.

Water leak from ice dispenser line

For the ice maker problem, Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear. If it does, the problem is the ice maker and not the valve and line...

The water/ice dispenser will not dispense neither ice nor water..

There is a door switch that senses the door being closed for the dispenser to work. The water problem could be a plugged filter if you have one. Was the frig extremely cold recently? The water resevoir can freeze up. (its located behind the crispers) It could be the switches in the dispenser itself. Process of elimination will lead to the problem.

Ice maker not working

The icemakers won't make ice if the temperature is not below a certain set point. Varies between manufacturers. Try making the temp colder.
