My Paslode cordless finishing nailer will only fire several times before the light flashes red. I have tried a new battery with the same results.

The red light flashing on the gun means that the battery does not have enough voltage to operate the tool. Try another battery and if it still flashes red you need to replace the spark unit

Hi,I believe that is a battery issue...either it is run down or not charging properly...

sounds like the pasload you have may have a bad cooling fan.
