Tuning drifts quickly multiple times, the a day or two later is perfectly stable and works as well as ever??

It sounds like the tuner is out of alignment. A number of things can cause this kind of problem. However, a realignment is a very costly proposition, especially when considering the used value of the Proton 320. If you really like this radio, you might want to try buying a used example off of eBay. They come up very frequently. Only... be selective. Don't pick anything from a seller without a lot of good feedback. And don't overpay ($50 tops).

Two components in the main circuit to your TV should be suspected. The first one is its Tuner itself. if tuning frequency of the tuner drift with change in atmospheric temperature, or if the Main system memory IC do not store the tuned frequency well, this type of fault will happen. Anyway, the work is a skilled one, and a user who have no knowledge about electronics cannot make this fault right. It will be best for you to contact any experienced service technician.

Auto gain does not work
Magnetron has drifted out of tolerance, replace.
Try manual tune and see if it is stable day to day or if you always have to keep moving the tune.

05 jeep liberty -rear recall done by dealer,,, alignment ,,,jeep drifs to the right

Using fs9 with Saitek yoke - aileron control drifts to the right. Had the yoke for several years - it didn't use to do this. Reinstalled fs9 after a year of none use and now have this drift trouble.
The Saitek joystick yoke used to work perfectly. It was only recently that I experienced the aileron drift!
I un-installed and deleted averything related to FS9 and then started to load FS9 and all the add ons etc. The yoke works perfectly again. I have no idea......!
