MY FRIGIDAIRE MODEL FAQE770KW0 DRIER IS MAKING A LOUD NOISE AFTER IT GETS HOT

The drum area seems to get louder as the drier gets hotter. When you first turn on it runs normally, but after drier gets hot it sounds almost like a grinding noise coming form back of drum area, not squeaky but loud dragging type noise.

You might need a new roller on the back of the drum, As for being louder when warm it's the part getting hot from Friction that is wearing the roller or roller pin down.

SOURCE: squeeky noise

I own a Frigidaire Heavy Duty Dryer The Model # is FDE436RES1. It is 10 years old. When running the dryer it makes a very loud squealing noise although the heat and the dryer still work. Is this a belt or roller problem or does it sound like something else. It is very high pitched and can be heard throughout the entire home. I do not know much about dryer troubleshooting so your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

My dryer starts making noise after a min. and gets louder as it go's

Hello friend, thanks for your inquiry!

From my understanding your Frigidaire dryer is making a loud noise as it continues to go through the cycles. It could be an issue within the drum not properly being balanced and the load is now rubbing against the wall of your dryer.

It is also possible that the belt is not securing the dryer and it is not properly spinning. I would suggest seeking assistance from a professional to come out and properly diagnose your appliance to avoidany unnecessary part purchases. -Matt

Frigidaire Gallery Series GLEH1642FS loud noise on final spin

It sounds like something has come loose or some item was placed in the unit accidentally and it got lodged in the drum. You will need to start by taking the front cover off and looking around the drum.

Make Frigidaire dryer model Gleq2152es1 is making a loud sqealing noise and the clothes getting hung in top of dryer.

mostly the noise your hearing is the drum running on the side of machine .the baering/bearings have collapsed in your drier . Most driers these days have the bearing encased in the outer drum and i mean molded to the outer drum . You cant replace them and the manufacturer doesn`t really want you to . Sorry about that = looks like a new drier for you .

Electric drier takes 2 to 3 cycles to dry one normal size load

Have you tried cleaning the actual inside of the drier?
When you use drier sheets the wax on the sheets melts onto your clothes and makes them soft, but the wax often gets stuck in the holes of the drier making it incapable of drying the clothes in one load. Try scrubbing the inside of your drier with some hot water.

Kenmore king size capacity 90 series

could be thermal overload in motor its a motor protector in the motor when the motor gets hot it cuts power to the motor when motor cools it closes and resets age of drier counts some times you can take drier apart and blow dust out of motor and will fix now if the door is not closing tight vibration can cause door switch to break contact that will do it too most of time motor or relay must be replaced

Noisy drier

I had the same problem with my dryer. The large cloths drum rides on two wheel bearing rollers that are mounted behind the drum. If one of those bearings to the rollers wears out, it will make a loud racket. If you want to repair it your self, purchase a repair manual for your model dryer. Then Disessemble the front of the dryer to expose the large drum. Remove the belt that goes around the drum. Then remove the drum. You will then be able to see the two rollers that the drum rides on. Go to your nearest parts store and replace both of them. Good luck.
