Why doesn't the screen show the picture on the menu screen

This is the first generation of Apple TV.
It's getting rather old in it's specifications.
When was the last update software installed?
I received a software update for my recent model about 23 Oct.
If it's not getting updates to it's IOS then it may be too old to be compatible with iTunes 12. Technology moves forward.
Hold off for a possible future model or get the current model & use the old around the house on another TV.

I dont know how you could have a back light seen through the cabinet on the back and not see the picture. The unit uses LED backlights and just one LED can cause the power supply to sense the current change and not power the display. Replacement LED strips are about 75 USD

When trying to take a picture or record a movie, the screen is a solid light pink.

try an sd card from another source. the format function of the camera should be used to prepare the sd card for the camera before you take pics with it. this may be a format issue with nintendo. format will erase all images on card, so save them first somewhere else.

White screen , no image showing, no menu showing, no image in picture taking

if it takes a picture then it is a broken lcd screen... if it does not then it is a broken sensor and lcd screen... with the menu not showing that has nothing to do with the sensor just the screen.

Our picture will only show reds and greens, no other colors.

Go to your On Screen Menu to picture settings and reset and choose "reset picture" mode. This will bring you back to factory defaults. If this doesn't work shut off wait 10 sec. and turn on the TV. If still no luck call your best friend who is a TV repairman, you probably have a damaged blue drive.

The normal screen is divided in two smaller screen,which are showing the same channel.I want to return the screen to its normal screen size of single screen channel

The smaller picture is PNP called picture and picture.It can be set in to the menu setting.Go to menu setting and search the PNP code.Try to off or diable the PNP menu setting to back the normal single picture.

If all games are like this then you might have a faulty system if it's only a few or one then it might be the disk. If it's not the disk then I don't know

How do i change the picture on the maine

from the main phone screen, push the menu button --> options --> phone display options--> where is says show dial pad, the other choice on the drop down menu is show wallpaper, then click the picture to the right, and any picture you have in your phone you can use as a wallpaper for the main screen.
