What type of TV do you have? If you have an HDMI input on your, TV then the easy way it to purchase a $35 Chromecast Device from Google Store. Netflix is an available app. See attached link for details. :)
Make sure that you enter Roku activate devices and also incorporated with the 5.1 audio options.
These 5.1 audio options are required for streaming of high quality contents.
So ensure your Roku device comes with these 5.1 audio options to enjoy high quality screening.
All the devices have Subtitles and captions as a default options.
Netflix avail users with Parental controls options and they can set their own Individual Profiles.
For Roku 1 model Go to Home screen > Select Netflix. You can visit channel store and your preferred Movies and TV shows are selected from there. Once you selected your preferences choose Netflix and add channel option is clicked to add your favourite shows.
In case of other Roku models, Go to Home screen > select Netflix. Go to channel streamed and then select preferred Movies and TV shows. Select the SignIn option from home screen activate Netflix in Roku to stream your preferred contents.
Signing out of Roku
Make sure that you enter Roku activate devices and navigate to Roku Home menu by pressing the home button. Select the Setting and choose Netflix settings from the menus. Select Deactivate the player from the Netflix account and chose the option yes now your Roku device will be deactivated.
There are SEVERAL services out there now other than Netflix if you are looking for a movies that you don't see on Netflix. I highly suggest a Smart TV with apps on it already. Amazon Prime is one kind of service with Netflix does not have it. Sometime Hulu Plus is another.
Your cable box might not be sending signal out to the tv. Would have to call service provider to have them test your box. Or, you can try unplugging your cable box, and then plugging it back in. Make sure all connections are secure and settings on your tv are accurate.
Don't hook the DVD/VCR recorder through ur cable box.Hook the DVD/VCR recorder through ur tv only it should work find.This way each units have it own direct functions to the tv.U recording the shows from the tv not the cable box ok.
Are you sure that the disc is for the wii? Wii netflix service isn't supposed to be available yet; perhaps you have an install disc that is only for certain DVD players.
Be sure your tv is programing with a correct signal. Air or cable channels, and that you do have a line going into the RF connector [antenna signal]. If you have a satellite or cable box your tv will only tune to channel 3. Also, if you are logged into a dvd player or vcr...you will only have one channel memory. Remove any of the external players [games,dvd,vcr etc.] And retune with auto program!
Make sure the DVD has RF lead and Scart lead connected in and also BOTH connected out to the TV. When you record from TV use channel numbers, when you record from cable use AV channel, (on DVD). When watching TV use TV channels 1 to 5, when watching Cable use AV channel, (on TV).
